    - maybe a female reading !!

    - rare ultra-fit folks..

    - likely with the help of prescriptions especially for heart/arteries of more than 50 years (as suggested by the consistent middle figures)...
U mean the 73 DIA? No lah...but glocosamine washed down with fermented malt, oats, barley, hops brew and doubly flushed down the hatch chased with a few shots o'whisky for sure...
My read this morning (best interactive game to play, now that this thingamajig is taken off the storeroom) gave a 76 PUL... OMG! Am I like slowing breathing out? Am I fading into the light?
FEMALE? Sure I like 'em as much as the next guy. Bring' em on, I say.
Ultra fit? Yup. I accidentally put a faux wool sweater into the dryer when out in the Pyrenees...once out , it ultra fitted me to a point of suffocation!

    ....
Naka, Methink I am more a rain-soaked violoncello than a fiddle lah.

    You always get different readings.
Of course, it should not differ very much.
Best to take the readings after you had taken a bit of time to cool down and relax. Readings better taken lying on your bed, ensuring the cuff is at the same level as your heart.

By the way the heart rate (in 80's) is a bit high.

Yes, beyond excellent... You have defied the odds (I mean defying ageing as shown by your diastolic readings)

Write a book, write a book.. I will be the 1st one to read..

Your BP machine is Doctor's category. Mine, model HEM7121 cost AUD$89.99....Yours?

    Very good result.

I just realised my DIA of 73 is similar to a 20 year old fellow, wonder why, must be the water & air here in Perth.

I have 2 unit of bp monitors. Can't remember how much I bought.

One is basic unit as shown in post #71. The other one comes with a lot of more features like calculation of 5 days average and 30 days average, bigger memory for bp records, etc.

Although my diastolic of 83 is within the normal range of my age group (my average diastolic is 81). It would be great if I can keep them even lower... for future arteries aging.

In a way, a better environment (water and air) does play a role, I think.

Maybe I should live in Hokkaido !!

    Don't like Okinawa..

Weather is like Taiwan, hot and humid sometimes... and also the presence of US military...
