where to get fresh fish around SJ/USJ/Klang?

Had a stinky fish not too long ago from supermarket here. Fed-up, don't mind driving up top 15 kms to get some fresh fish.Changing my diet to eat more fish.

I get my supply of fresh fish, prawn, meat (pork and chicken) and vege from the shoplot "wet market" at SS14, same row with the bkt shops.

After more than a decade patronizing there, so far so good, I get stuff that meet my expectation. They also reserve what I wanted for my weekend marketing. You need to develop a rapport between yourself with the fishmonger and meat/vege sellers. It is a "trust" over long period of time and it is two ways.

I don't want to debate that customer should not be cheated or something like that. This is a real world...

I've said it time and again, most of our goods are imported and local produce is a small or insignificant portion. Malaysia depend so much on imports to suffice the demand. So it doesn't matter whether the cabbage, tomato is from Cameron Highlands or imported from somewhere remote in China and our fish whether netted by your East Cost nelayan or trawled in by huge trawlers in the Gulf of Thailand, one scoop is more than 3 days outings our nelayan can rake in.
When the price goes up progressively. incrementally or in an instant, we ALL FEEL THE PINCH!..and its always good times for the vendors at your wet market..MOST OF THEM have consistent income, good times or bad, doesn't matter. We all need to buy from them often. If they were doing so badly, I don't expect to see the same vendors again in a few months time, but they're all there FOR DONKEY YEARS! Looking very happy all the time. Only we as consumers especially with stagnated income are going to feel wretched whenever price goes up, cooking at home or eating out.
THIS IS REALITY from what I feel and perceive. The more we depend on imports to suffice, the more Malaysia is at the mercy of currency rates and availability. Look at if there's ANY shortage of essentials from chillies to some vege to fish to meat....see how the prices shoot up and make your jaw drop?..try convince me this isn't of any truth or its all fairy tales..LOL!
Caveat: No one need to believe me or its gospel truth..its my own perception as a realist most of the time.

Bruce,1997 when our currency against US dollar jump from RM2.54 to RM4.20 I think, ppl say Malaysia will face depression, now almost 20 yrs later, same thing again....business no good la,price gone up la...but their profit margin is still super high.Remember before 1997 , a pair of Padini pants cost about RM129-149 but now RM49.90.,how come?

In 1986..the usual excuse by vendors.." Japanese Yen gone up"..so price increased.
In 1998, 2015, same ole tune..only change one-two words.. US dollar gone up, so price increased.
Vendors will find all sorts of excuses EVERYTIME, ALL THE TIME!..
