Bad condition of toilets in 3K sport complex @ SS13

I started back swimming recently and have been swimming at the indoor 50m pool at 3K Sport Complex in SS13. The pool condition and the water are of OK condition but the condition of the washroom and toilet at the pool area is below par and really need some sort of makeover.

Anyone knows whether the complex is under MPSJ's care or outsourced to 3rd party to managed? Where to channel the complaints to? Just felt that the bad condition of the washroom/changing room negated an otherwise good swim in an indoor pool...

How about try MPSJ online complaint? Your details are recorded and they're obliged to respond via email or on your account. I think I saw LIVE CHAT..try it!
But whether they act to the matter or not is left to be seen. At least you may have done your part.

Generally speaking, public toilets in Boleh is a shame.

    Most times, dirty & wet.

Apart from the phathetic mentality as highlighted by bslee, the design of building is one of the contributing factors..

However, I see serious thoughts are now put in the layout and design of toilet and bathroom in residential property.

Toilets in the old landed property of USJ/SJ are small in space with bad ventilation.

You know ... in condo living, all sorts of sound *LOL* can be heard through the thin wall dividing each unit. I was told that you can even hear the conversation of your neighbors. I wonder if you can hear your neighbor pee.

You see, I don't have wall-sharing neighbours. I stay in a corner unit..

Also, I don't need to worry of neighbour or strangers throw rubbish into my dumpster or it's called rorobin..!!

All public toilets in Hong Kong are clean & they are complete with toilet papers at ALL times.

I wonder when Boleh can match that.

Apanama here are using their hands and water to get the job done!!

and then they will proceed to prepare your favourite apanama food with their bare hands...

Whenever people mention things like these I have to remind them this is not Japan where everything works and are well maintained. They even have workers wiping the columns in the railway stations.

I frequently go the a bank in SS15 a little after its opening. While walking on the five foot way the cleaners will be sweeping the place. They will just sweep the rubbish and waste paper into the drain. How's that for efficiency? Really wtf!

The mentality in Japanese society is to make sure the next person who use the facility/service will be happily satisfied....

Over here, people tend to abuse the facility/service and the next person who need to use it end up cursing....

I agree with you that water is a better solution than toilet paper and that's why a water bidet is for. The water bidet is used to flush clean than only toilet paper is used to wipe dry.

But how many will do the above and also wash their freaking hands after getting the job done ??

Talking about bidet, I am sure not many household install a proper water bidet next to the WC inside a toilet. Most are using a rubber hose connect to a tap. Of course, this water bidet is not important and expensive when compare to getting a smartphone with 2GB RAM for mobile apps download !!

My bidet head is Middle Kingdom made and quite affordable (won't use the word cheap!), I brought home some good stainless steel taps from Guangzhou last year, looked at some nice bidet fittings, but then too many stuff to carry back, never mind. At Guangzhou, one can be spoilt for choice for these toilet and kitchen fittings. A GROHE mixer tap here cost RM1.2k, there? only RM400 or ballpark..
The existing ones have lasted for some years now as we use it with TLC. Just brush off the head with toothbrush if there's any sediment or blockage. If that same item was at public toilet here?..it'll disappear and never to be replaced again. Same with many busy shopping complex toilets, semua gone! Really 4th world mentality will persist forever!

No need a mixer for water bidet as unlikely hot water is used to flush clean in household toilet. Iit is almost impossible to connect hot water to water bidet unless the house is supplied with centralized hot water.

I'm using a Grohe water bidet bought from the Grohe shop in SS15. It is about RM300.
