RM50 Service Tax on Credit Card

Anyone knows are we still need to pay for this RM50 "YEARLY" service tax on our credit card if bank is charging us in this middle March? It is only 15 days away from the abolishment date effective from 1 April.
Since it is yearly charge, anyone has successful ask the bank to give prorated discount or waive it?

There will be no more RM50 Govt service tax but there will be GST on your annual fee if you are holding credit cards that charges annual fees.

Bank will still charged RM50 on "YEARLY" service tax before 31/3, there is no aportionment element involved. So it's all depends on the approval date of credit card, if card approve in Jan to Mar, then u need to pay the RM50, Apr to Dec will be abolished!
