They are given a grace period. I think handwritten receipt is still allowed.

I think all these rest.are more consistently organise .Like most western cuisine " nice to look but taste bland" not like those around us exotic, pungent, hot etc.Do you this curry fish head can be present as fine dining?Soup for example the western type is just soup no ingredients not like Malaysia style ,have chicken feet etc....Just my observation.

Anyone tried this restaurant called Crab Factory? Basing on the pictures of the food I think it is worth a visit.

Wow!..a lot, if not all those are Michelin star restaurants, with some of its owner chef featured in Discovery Food Channel. The French Laundry is one sifu to Anthony Bordain.
I just tar pau Zainul Nasi Kandar with chicken and potato cutlet, BIG PACK enough for 2 to makan..for RM6.80 only..Far far far better tasting than at Taipan?..don't even smell...GST summore!

I would want to try this crab factory soon...

A quick comparison of crab price. They are selling meat crab at RM89/kg whereas I paid RM95 for 1.5kg at subang crab house...

Yup, these 50 best restaurants would be Michelin star-rated if they took part in the rating..

Some restaurants refuse to be rated by Michelin Guide due to various reasons. Some chefs are proud and don't need someone to tell them their food/restaurant is good or bad. Some feel very stressful to maintain the Michelin star status because once the star is removed or reduced it is kind of loose face..

I like Heston Blumenthal who made a name for himself at Fat Duck, Bray, West Berkshire, a quaint country biscuit tin picturesque village. I like his approach with great emphasis on freshness, all the goodness, healthy and back to mere basics with a modern twist. Its all how standards are raised without the use of processed or mass produced ingredients. Here, what have we here?.. all those "tasty" food that can easily give us medical complications later in life.
I try to cook from home more..where I'm able. There's tons of recipes on Youtube to tryout..one whole lifetime oso cannot finish..

Wife's homemade apple pie with ice-cream.

Those that we eat at cafes or restaurants have less apple filling and the crust is thick and hard.

You are a very lucky man, Henry

My wife will give me apples only without the pie, and she will say ice-cream is bad for me..
