Given the fact that people are getting less disposable income it is time for them to re evaluate their makan options and strike out those that are profiteering. You make your own judgements if you are getting value for your money.

There is a place you are not right...

Starbug at Taipan just completed their renovation. They also changed new furnitures but same price...

Just to share, for those who like starbug, there are few outlets in USJ/SJ:

    - Taipan (in front of the HK dim sum which is same row with Maybank)
    - SS15 (in front of Inti College)
    - inside Subang Parade
    - inside Empire Gallery
    - and the latest one, inside SJMC which is just walking distance for me...

Now, that is happy news! Anyways, knowing the Starry coffee place, their prices are already very high. To further increase prices may drive (some) customers away so they did a most wise thing.

My wife going back kampung this weekend, told her to buy 1 huge ikan tenggeri fish from relative who is a fish monger.. wholesale price lor..just one of my perks. Premium food at less price eating out.
I blardie slice outside is can be Banana note 5... that oso frozen type..tasteless. All those "renovated" shops..Old wine in new bottle..and new prices..higher.

If your freezer is big enough, buy a few slice them up and eat it when you feel like it. defrost it properly and as long it is not used for steaming it should be ok

Went to subang crab house on last Friday to pack food...

They charged GST but the receipt is not a tax invoice printout, it is a handwritten receipt. !!

I think the crab price has increased, 1.5kg of kam heung crab is RM95..

The Kam in Kam Heung () is 甘.

    means aromatic.. !!

    is fragrant..

Literally speaking, it is crab with aromatic fragrance. Google this word " 甘香螃蟹 " and click images, you will get all the pictures of kam heung crab..
