Thats why I often have serious doubts about some flers behavior and audacity that may shock the giver. How can these bastards demand or insist!.. Ang Pow is a small festive gift, not something to question, insist or despise if the amount may seem little. When people give out of kindness, accept it with appreciation, thats all. I hate it when I see kids (Yes, I've seen some) open it immediately and you can see face change if the amount wasn't to their expectation. I blame the parents of kids who behave like this. Ang Pow isn't some money making scheme or a business transaction.

Maybe CCF should give them an AP like this: This isn't meant to be cruel..its to teach them a blardi lesson.

And I thought the worst worry was our "homeless generation" have to face a thinning salary packet with imminent increase in house rental rates, couple of hundred EVERY MONTH onwards when new contract is renewed.
Meagre bonus (if any) or salary increment negated in a flash.

Well as a future parent I'll do what I can to provide roof over their head, food on the table, the best education I can afford, and maybe a second hand vehicle. After they graduate I'll set them free like a bird out of the cage, hope they become a useful, independent human being. My worry ends there, as I no longer have any control, I don't think I can even control my own bladder at that point in time

I come from a typical middle income family, I don't expect PS 4, iPhone or Honda Civic from my father, no matter where my income bracket I ends up to be, I won't provide more then the bare essential for my kids. If they want something good, they work for it, plan for it.

This view is warped.... if RM10 is the angpow we give out, its RM10 for all.... irrespective of which country you come from.... we should view angpow as a token accompany prosperity wishes to our guests.... not a BR1M
