Here is an archive of what I read in the past which proves my assumption is NOT totally unfounded

Quote: In May 1999, the then Information Minister Datuk Mohamed Rahmat alleged that Dr Wan Azizah was “unfit to lead the Malays” as she had been “educated in Singapore” and had “darah cap naga” (dragon brand blood), an euphemism for Chinese blood or lineage.

Hello, just for your information, one of the two persons who has Chinese mother I posted in the link above is an MP known as Nur Jazlan Mohamed. His father is Mohamed Rahmat which says that one with "darah naga" is not fit to lead the Malays which you so happily quoted above, you believe his words?

p/s Mohamed Rahmat is from UMNO and not PAS...

Hey, fellas, why squabble..read this, Pak Lah is also of Chinese descent. http://nooryahaya.blogspot.com/2008/...st-ethnic.html
Quote: "Truth is, Malaysia hasnt had 100% ethnic Malay PM for years, not since the time of the late Tun Abdul Razak. This shows that Malays of Malaysia are happy to be ruled by other ethinicity, as long as they practise Malay culture and custom.
Tun Mahathir father came from Kerala.
Tun Hussein Onn stock came from Turkey
Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi stock from China
    ."

Does the state constitution of Selangor say that the MB must be a "pure" Malay? If that is so, then every potential candidate must go through a family tree scrutiny before being accepted to the post? As we are all Malaysians, I would suggest all PM and MB and CM posts be for Malaysians, i.e., any Malaysian should be elligible, irrespective of race or religion.

Meantime, the Selangor MB crisis has revealed the growing gap in PAS between the "Islamists" and "Anwarists" Have you noticed that Hadi wasn't present when Mat Sabu agreed with other Pakatan members that Wan Azizah should be the only candidate for MB? http://www.freemalaysiatoday.com/cat...t-well-in-pas/

Malaysiakini has reported that Khalid may be heading to Budapest to meet the sultan to seek dissolution of state assembly. Why must he do that?

If he goes down he wants to drag all the others along. There is a Chinese saying that goes like this ~ "grap each other and die together."

Nvm, we will just get ready to cast our votes again.

Don't be too happy yet bro.... we really do not know if HRH Sultan will accept Dr Wan Azizah as MB.... and if the guys at Putrajaya has any of their fingers in the pie.... but at least the public has spoken and this itself will somehow tell some fellows not to act without considering public reaction....

In Perak, the moment BN got the frogs, Nizar was out in a flash. Here Khalid lost the majority and he is still MB! Different strokes for different folks! Malaysian politics never fail to amaze.

So true! Our law makers have somehow thrown away the Federal constitution and used their own version. Our judiciary has also changed so much. Where is the separation of the monarchy, judiciary and parliament?
