I LIKE GST, just donít like the low rate because it is only 6%.

When I pay GST, I feel so GOOOOOD as I know all apanamas have to pay also when they purchase the same item/service..

GST can be good too (depend on which category you are in)..

Example, price of some cars have dropped due to GST. The money saved when changing to a new blinking car can be more than all the small little GST paid for the small little food and grocery.

a RM15K reduction in car price is equivalent to 6% GST of RM250k. Come on, how to spend RM250k on food and grocery in one year or even two years for an ordinary simple family ! You see, one can benefit from GST

p/s : I have NEVER benefited a single cent from this apanama 1gomen from the day I was born. The only way to get even is when others also pay the same tax rate. GST fits perfectly into this... Wtf the gomen want to do with my tax money is none of my interest. They can increase BR1M, CR1M or DR1M Ö

The first thing to do on coming back was to check my 6 Papaya trees which I bought 4 weeks ago to see if they are still alive.

They cost $7.50 each without G.S.T. at the Sunday market.

Yes, thanks goodness, they are still looking good.

The only plant I do not have in my backyard is a banana tree.

"A hardware shop owner attempted suicide yesterday after deciding to close shop because he was unsure how to implement the collection of the GST."

Fact..when people buy big ticket items costing hundreds upwards, the GST can be quite a chunk when seen at the receipt. Who don't want cheapest and pay the least? that's quite natural.

Someone hit my parked car and ran. I just bought a replacement tail lamp for RM 1000 plus RM60 GST. Repair and painting cost not included.

    Sorry to hear this..

You pay the bill or the insurance covers the damage ?

Is your NCB more than RM1000 + [repair and painting cost] ?

p/s : It was raining heavily just now and someone nearly hit the left side of my car at NPE... !!

Sendiri bayar since the total bill is about 1.5k. Don't want to lose the NCD.

Luckily the bumper can be repaired otherwise it should cost an additional 1k to replace. Car parts are not cheap.

Two years ago my other car got rear ended and the offending party paid for the repair. Replaced bumper, reverse sensor, painting and labour added up to 1.5k. No broken tail lamp that time.

Related in the sense that......worrying about the 'impact' of 'GST on You' may not be the 'Mother of All Our Woes' after all

    Pre-amble:
So like........here I was quietly worrying about this recent buzz on the WWW that a 2.5 mile wide meteor is headed towards our planet and expected to impact Earth on Sept 23 2015 or thereabouts........this is being kept a secret by TPTB, who have been aware for sometime and have made necessary preps to save themselves ............

But now......looks like I'm not alone and aware ......in fact.....if Rafizi's warning is right......it may not matter how big it is,......if its true or not....either way we will still be Impacted!

So.....find below, links for your reading and viewing pleasure.......if we are all going to drown or worse vaporize.....why worry about GST? .......
