    Who will be EPL Champ 13/14?

    It is now down to the wire and the last game. Man City or Liverpool?

    It was the same situation a few years ago with Man City winning the title with the last kick of game on the last day of the season. Man Utd finished second.

    Man City is in a commanding position with Liverpool's fate not in their own hands. Liverpool have only themselves to blame by conceding three goals late in the game against Crystal Palace to draw. Can a miracle happen with Man City losing and Liverpool winning against Newcastle to snatch the title instead? Well, it would need a miracle. Miracles do happen in football.

    Henry, sure it will be Man City.
    You were right a few weeks ago to have made the City-champion call.
    Even though I am a Chelsea supporter, City deserves to win.

    If I need to name the key player at City, it would have to be Yaya Toure which make all the difference; He is just fantastic.

    Chelsea's game is defensive and not very attractive to watch. They were also distracted by their good run in the UEFA Champions' League.

    Sure, the odds are on Man City and even though I am a Liverpool fan I don't envy them (City) if they do finish as Champions. They play an attractive attacking game like the Brazilians ~ the "never mind if you score three against us, we will score four in return" sort of mentality. I agree that Yaya Toure is the kingpin of the team. His contribution is immense and some of his goals are gems and are certainly in the running for goal of the season.

    So, let's get ready the popcorn and soda for tonight's blockbuster matches.

    Liverpool have not won the EPL title for the past 24 years. This season is their best chance and everything look good for them to snatch the title until 2 weeks ago.

    Liverpool slipped when they played against Chelsea. We can blame Jose Mourinho boring defensive tactics but it worked for Chelsea. Liverpool needed to win big when they played Crystal Palace to reduce the superior goal advantage of Manchester City. I can understand why they went all out to score more goals even though they were leading 3-0. At the end of the day, it is the same whether they lose 2 points or 1 point to Manchester City. I like the way they play against Crystal Palace, they just need to have a better defense.

    Well, Man. City is the favorite – they have the confidence, patience and experience to win again. However, like what Henry said, miracle can happen in EPL football.. !!

    I said a few weeks ago if Liverpool win, I will go to Anfield on Dec for a one day trip from my holidays in France . I change my mind, whether Liverpool is the EPL champion or not, I will still go to Anfield and will stay 2 nights in London. This 2013/14 season is just spectacular. I enjoy watching EPL when Liverpool win and Manchester United lose, and I have both in this season...

    I like nothing more than see them win the league again. They were the team of the 70s and 80s and won everything until it becomes boring.

    If Liverpool are to mount a serious challenge for the EPL next season they need to plug their leaky defense and buy a few more players.

    As for Man Utd, this season could be the start of their decline. It is time for other teams to take over.

    Liverpool will improve in next season but so do other teams like Arsenal and Chelsea. Man United is no longer the team to beat.

    I hope Liverpool can win tonight for Steven Gerrard. He deserves to lift the trophy.

    Next season is tougher, in my opinion.

    One name stuck to my mind when it comes to EPL......Ian Rush. After that it just fade away.........until bend like Beckham with his spice girl. My banana bet is that MC should win.....with better coach and consistency of games. Just started renew interest in EPL because have accompany my son to see EPL games.

    Well, this time all the Liverfools will definitely walk alone... wait another 24 years lah... it was already theirs in the bag but just silly to let it slip away... that shows they are not consistent and just not real solid champions... don't deserve it!

    Looks like if Manchester City takes the winner, at least the city still can semi- rejoice even though Manchester United is down the longkang...

    It is good to watch the EPL title to be decided on the final match of the season.

    Man. City is the better team. They are patient (even after Liverpool were 6 points ahead of them 2 weeks ago) and have the experience to win again and they did.

    This season is remarkable in goals scoring. Man. City produced 102 and Liverpool produced 101 goals. Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge each scored 31 and 22 goals... !! These two Liverpool players are the top 2 scorers in this season.

    I am happy to see Liverpool reborn from seventh place last season to second place this time. I am happier to see Man. United sank from champion last season to just seventh place this time and will be absent from European competitions for the first time in 25 years..

    Alex Ferguson will be swearing and cursing day and night looking at the state of the team only one year after his retirement …

    Agreed. Liverpool needed to stenthgten their defence and they will be next season EPL champion.
