David, from the picture i see,it:s not my type of currymee,i find it has lots of santan.I think CurryMee feel the same.Maybe you should go to ChoyKee or SEAPark morning market,by the roadside now operate by her daughter and taste it .You will see the difference.
These are the "white curry mee" the ones at Choy Kee and SEA Park we have too at Pulau Tikus and Weld Quay... reddish curry type...
BTW have you tried the one at OUG in Old Klang Road - the one with pork ribs?
I like the Singapore curry mee - a lot more creamier with lot more santan and they use "loh shee fun" noodles... 1/4 boiled see hum on top and sprinkle on lots of the ground curry leaves... hard to find now - used to love the stall at Bishan food court in Singapore...
too much creamier and santan not good for health, sumore makes you sleepy.
Well, just tried a curry mee at a food stall in USJ 1 last week. Taste not bad...... According to the boss they do not use curry powder but make their own chilli paste. Maybe those who love curry mee can give it a try.
Did you know of late, the scientists are debunking the "health hazards" of butter, eggs and coconut?
They are now saying that all those are healthy and have real good properties for health
And by the way, the "cholesterol" issue with palm oils were thought to be negative propaganda created by the soya bean people in the US because they were afraid Palm Oil would steal their edible oil market share
Mr Plantation Boss, everyone has his views even scientist, doctors, engineers etc....last time a Scientist say oral sex cannot get Aids coz by saliva but now proven otherwise.
Anyone know if the "pork ribs curry mee" in that OUG garden uphill from the old Yaohan at Old Klang Road still there and if its still any good?

Really? Wow. I had cm at Choy Kee on Friday. Ordered it with cripsy siew yoke. Very nice. (See picture below, previously posted in another thread.) Have to give the Apollos one a try when the opportunity pops up. Just curious. My curry friend, did you do takeaway or dine-in? Heard the drink prices are a rip-off at Apollos.
