Maybe the foreigners get a 'immigration free' period until the day Airasia decide to move.

What foreigners? you mean locals do not fly or return from abroad and needn't chop passports? No such thing as "free" immigresen policies or promos...They exist there and whacking everyone on passport fee which was raised by your Anwar in the 90's part of curbing foreign outflow..its never gone down or reviewed to ease the rakyat..thats how they treat you people! And people think its "still in the best interest of the rakyat?" they only want your VOTE!..Like WWE RAW...What's best for business....! PERIOD!

Asked Air Asia personally in KL Central today. Stupid officer keeps avoiding the issue. Trouble is I don't know if I am flying via KLIA2 or not. This interim period is going to be messy for travelers.

    It's quite simple.

    Before May 2, LCCT
Between May 2 and May 9, it can be either LCCT or KLIA2, (depending on the flight number)
After May 9, KLIA2. (LCCT cannot operate without immigration officers)

So I think you can go to AirAsia website for the latest announcement a few days before your departure.

Air asia has relented, read below

If decision not made by the time I come back on May 17 from Ozzie land, my plane will probably be circling around looking for a place to land.

Did you read the link I provided above ?

On May 17, it is definitely KLIA2, how can LCCT operate without any immigration officers there ?

It is only from May 2 to 9, that we have to worry about.

Yes, just hoping that Air Asia can just delay the move and the consultants suddenly found a major flaw in the runway...a sink hole?

Air Asia is afraid to find hole in one by some golfing fans at the departing lounge. There could be 27 holes or 18 holes..........in the runaway.

    http://www.thestar.com.my/News/Commu...five-airlines/

On May 2, only these airlines will operate

Malindo Air, Cebu Pacific Air, Tiger Airways Singapore, Lion Air and Indonesia’s Mandala Airlines.

By May 9 (notice: by and not on)

    Airasia will join

    Finally,

Open day on April 27 to the public to introduce facilities. Anybody wants to go ? Any free rides to KLIA2 ?
