" Malaysia signed a deal on Wednesday to pay a U.S. seabed exploration firm up to $70 million if it finds the missing Malaysia Airlines aircraft MH370 within 90 days of embarking on a new search in the Southern Indian ocean. Malaysian Transport Minister Liow Tiong Lai said a Houston-based private firm, Ocean Infinity, would search for MH370 in that 25,000-sq-km priority area on a "no-cure, no-fee" basis, meaning it will only get paid if it finds the plane. Really, wreckage will be found within 90 days or else search for free !! It seems like these fellas from Houston know something that the whole world don't know !!

    Let's start counting from today...

p/s; based on my extremely unreliable and highly skewed layman view. The cost is marginal vs the reward if the search is limited to a small, well-defined area and the ops is limited to a short period of time. So, why not throw some money and hope for 70 million jackpot !! That explains the 90 days time frame. If search for one year or more, the gamble is too high stake...
