Logically, Vietnam control tower should know what happened since the control tower has close contact with the flight pilot unless this is a terrorist act.

The police inspector of police says they are ready to conduct large scale search and rescue operations. I dont know if he is aware that the plane was flying over vietnamese airspace. I dont think they can just fly in and begin search and rescue operations as it involves another country. Sometimes I just wonder what type of people we have here.

Actually I would like to know how vindictive Mr Tham is. I would love to hear from him what he did to people whom he thinks offended him.

Anyway I think the 2 women came out very late on their rendezvous. The air steward/stewardess did not report the security breach to HQ 2 years ago despite knowing the incident. I like to thank the women for highlighting how MAS pilots behaved and this should be a lesson to MAS to discipline their pilots.

No one offended him. Any offence is self-inflicted. By his sexist rant in the post he had insulted half the world's inhabitants who happens to be women which included his (late) mother, of course. tictactoe merely pointed out his folly.

If this is an international forum you can be sure many fellow forumers will come down on him like a ton of bricks for a sexist post.

tictactoe should make a screenshot of the intimidating/offending (maybe even threatening) reply to his/her post. Cyber-bullying can be prosecuted, if he/she wants to make a case of it. It happened in one motoring forum.

Lets hope HMAS Success able to pick up the debris.. flares were released by the plane.. so should be able to confirm if it is indeed from 370.. and then the task of trying to work out where 370 ditched.. and then locate the ping within 12/13 days.
