According to some earlier "affectees" in Petaling district, water cuts starts @ 3pm on the affected days, & "returns" also at 3pm on the "returning" days.
As of last night, the water in my house tank went below the "out" pipe level & now NO water! I'm surprised as we really took steps to minimise our usage but maybe the pressure was already "weak" on Saturday itself, & water was not pumped up into my tank!
Luckily, I managed to store some before Saturday.![]()
What you have to do and the way you have to do it is incredibly simple.
Whether you are willing to do it, that's another matter.

You better have your water tank ball valve checked or simply replaced to a new one. I'm presuming most people don't bother to have it periodically checked for efficiency and integrity. I know it cos I know it can get stuck with debris and partially choked. Weak pressure isn't always the problem, the ball valve that is choked or won't regulate the water properly. I replace mine every 6-8 years depending on its condition and readjust the water level to my own specification. Hope my advice is taken seriously for your personal benefit.
Pressure might be low when water resume... Best to store water at lower floor if one stay at double/triple storey terrace house. Use ground floor toilet. Reduce toilet flushing. The 1st floor toilets in my house are P trap design (Goes into wall behind). The ground floor one is S trap (Goes down to floor). The S trap ones can be flushed with less water.
I adjust my toilet cistern ball valve to a much lower level for flushing, with savings in mind. All cisterns valves can be manually adjusted. Just matter of being handy at it.
usj6 start no water today.. don't know when can resume the water.![]()
