    Question Dentist to recommend?

Does anyone have a dentist to recommend in the Subang Jaya area? The one I used to go to in Sunway is not that good as the filling he did for me fell out twice. I guess this is also a good time for me to look for one where my daughters can go to as well.

    Cool

In Subang, there is no good dentist!...serious.

I reccommend to you, the PJ state dental clinic, above standard chartered.Dr Tan

Ok one clinic is even better, in KL, opposite PUDU raya, Pudu Dental Surgery, Dr Chuah. Coolest dentist I had ever visited

The man I would recommend is Dr Law Chin Han at 66 Jln SS15/4D Subang Jaya Tel 03 5633 5459. (between McDonald's and Burger King)

Dr Law is an excellent dentist and is also the head of the Malaysian Acupuncture Society. He has a clinic in Bangsar or Damansar where he is in the morning but he is at the Subang Jaya clinic after 3 or 4 PM every day.

I'm terrified of dentists so I consider myself a pretty good critic :-) This man is excellent: he has good equipment, is a fast worker, has small hands and believes in keeping people calm. Patients can watch TV while he works or listen to music.

    Good luck!
    Cheers,
    Maria

Great to know that so many people in usj,com do visit their fave dentist...Now can u help to fill,in the blank for a price comparison?
    1. Normal filling per tooth: RM??
    2. Normal check up & scaling: RM??
    3. Normal extraction per toth: RM??

Once we have the price, then we all can choose the best soft hand with the best price

    w'd ya say?

tupai who visit his regular dentist in old town.

p/s I will start the price listing
    - Normal bi-annual checkup & scaling : RM40.00
    - Fillings & the rest: dunno cos haven't done for soooo long.

Have any of you considered Fakulti Pergigian at University Hospital PJ. I got my bad tooth extracted for free. Just got my teeth descaled this morning.. also for free. (conditions apply) I'm not going to elaborate. I'm not clear on exactly what services are offered for small fee but it's hell of a lot cheaper than private dentists. Worth finding out.

I've heard too many horror stories on the charges levied by private practitioners..sorry guys, I'm not as loaded as some or have company perks on this issue.

I have vowed never to visit a government dentist due to a bad (or should I say painful) experience. When I was a kid, my mom took me to a government dental clinic to get one of my tooth extracted but somehow the dentist has problem to get the tooth out halfway through. And the dentist did not complete the job and abandoned it. My mom has to carry me out from the clinic with my tooth halfway out and blood all over my mouth to a private dentist to get the job done. This incident happened when I was a kid (around 10 yrs old)

Try the Lim Dental CLinic opposite Sin Kong. It is upstairs, above a mamak shop.

The doc there is very good with his hands, and my entire family visits him.

    Joon dental Clinic

Guys, I have been a fan of Joon dental in Taipan. www.jdc.com.my
So far very satisfactory, bukan pasal soft hand ke hard hand ... tapi doktor tu explain baik baik sebelum treatment! My son is also enjoying his visit now after so many years takut jumpa dentist.

My opinion, kalau problem tu teruk perrgilah =ke UM, ada specialist dan murah banding dengan private.
