    Burglary at USJ 6/6J

This corner house was broken into at about 5.30 pm this afternoon when the owner came back. He suspected that the burglars were surprised by his sudden return and left without taking valuables such as his laptop and other stuff in the house. The burglars broke the side window to gain access into the house and escaped via the back door which was ajar when he went to check.

The back grill door was open

The side window was broken into and used to gain entry into the house

    The window was prised open

Lots of homes here at Subang are still unprotected and so vulnerable that every area should be gated and all back lanes walled or ironed up. Otherwise no end to breakins sooner or later. All sorts of characters can survey and go around residential roads for some potential hit sometime.
Police patrols oso no use, grills oso no use, iron gates oso no use..can be easily pried open with crowbar. Even ATM's in banks can be hauled out, whaddaya expect this land is becoming, polis no polis...Lots of Subang homes will continue to be robbery targets. Fix alarm, man armed guards front and back of home seem the only way to prevent breakins..of course thats going to cost. Sigh! what an era residents have to contend with nowadays..home oso not a safe haven anymore.

....and many graciously (yet blur sotongly) and caringly warned me, for donkey years, that LOS is unsafe etcetcetc...HECK! I just got back after living there, for weeks with 24/7 unlocked gate, opened doors, opened windows (no grill) and the only intruders were those mozzies and bugs!..and expensive bike helmet left hanging on unguarded bike, while boozing in the nearby Soi...

    AMAZING THAILAND indeed! Sabai sabai!

while your Malaysia.Land of endless thieveries, robberies, break-ins and some.

    So, Xsuka? Keluar alh!

People are STUCK here lah.. have to eat, make a living or thrive here for as long as can make hay. Only a very minute minority can tak suka boleh keluar to where they think suit them. How to argue with these people?..they can, a lot can't!
What you may want and desire, so does everyone too.
Getting back to the topic, Every ungated home in Subang USJ is a potential break in target....period! We're now in perilous times..You're basically ON YOUR OWN...do what you think fit to secure your home and family even if it means renovating the home to Fort Knox, armed guards front and back, whatever it takes!... Police can't do anything much if your home is broken into nor your valuables replaced.
Again, I take the cases of robbers physically hauling out some ATM machine from bank in broad daylight or evening!.. Not ONCE, but many times in the news! THIS IS CLASSIC! ONLY IN MALAYSIA??? This is classic daring act in local history! Don't think I've heard of this in neighbouring countries.

Just live with it... they will increase toll and public transport too... MRT fares too will not be like Singapore... ours is built at RM80 billion which works out to RM600 million / km while the Shanghai MRT is RM200mil/km... so how to be cheap.

I doubt salary will increase much over the next few years... not when GDP is <5.0% forecasted... and official inflation rate is still only 3.0%... so expect life to be difficult.

I think we all deserve it. We never learn after 56 years and 47% amongst us still want it this way... so why are we all complaining?

So, everybody sing now.... Money for nothing, chicks for free...

Or since you all prefer Thailand....

I'd say your comment.....is fair enough.....there's sometimes a thin line between expressing oneself and complaining ........nothing wrong in what you are saying and writing.......that's what Forums are for

I suppose its how one expresses the thought and how the reader perceives it....but back to fundamental jist of topic.....here's a thought to consider:

"When people lose something, they complain about it.....

When people lose everything, and they have nothing left to lose.....THEY LOSE IT."

Frankly, I rather have Bolehlanders complaining all they want.....I fear the day they LOSE IT
