I am wondering where all parents were gone?
Everybody seems agree and satisfy with the school to collect smart board fee, computer fee, so called donation for curtain.. now donation for locker.
So so many fee/ donation need to be made this year..
As a housewife with no income, i feel very stressful when kid came back and told me it MUST be paid no matter what.. even though written in the memo is "donation"

So sad to read that it has not changed at all ... then again, I guess I was the "stupid parent and idealistic fool" to think that SJKCs are holistic and altruistic when in essence they are just another big businesses. SJKCs cannot and will not change.

My simple advice, just transfer and move on if you cannot take the "stress" anymore. No parents will fight anymore - all the "stupid" ones have all gone.

CM, not only that.. come the annual trip for Yr 6 after UPSR ,they will rip you off the last again. My friend daughter in another school went to Kuantan charge them RM 700 for 2 nights and 4 to a room with a queen size bed...

The 2016 straight A students are 4896 compared with 30834 last year after the KSSR elements are started in the syllabus.

With great sadness, I want to mention that one of LH mums, Ong Hui Siang, has passed away. For those who knew her, we will always be humbled by her courage and steadfastness in the face of adversities.
