    Apocalypse In The Red Dot!!

Apocalyptic scenes as smog engulfs Singapore >>> Read@France24

"Fast-food deliveries have been cancelled, the army has suspended field training"......"Marathon runner Mok Ying Ren said the haze had forced him to run indoors"....."I tried running with a mask on, but after 45 minutes it is too sweaty and uncomfortable," OMG

I mean....seriously??....and he's a Doc....'running with a mask for 45mins' .....the dot's top marathon runner say he's feeling 'sweaty and uncomfortable'.....aiya, I lonno wat to so lo......and any wars that involve the Dots Army will be devoid of fires and smoke

"But many Singaporeans are speculating that the government was manipulating the official pollutant standards index to downplay the severity of the crisis......so PM said "We don't play those kinds of games in Singapore" [is he trying to tell 'his neighbors' something??]

OK, that's enough.....these 'manja dotters'.....are stretching it here....not saying that there's no health hazard involved, but like the last few times when we got hit....like it wasn't their problemo.....after more than a decade of this.....kinda late to fuss about!......pretty obvious they can't do a @#$%al about it

Besides.....this [below] should put the situation in a clearer perspective....

Meanwhile, "at the popular Singapore Zoo [in a press statement said].....The animals are exhibiting normal behaviour with no noticeable adverse reactions towards the air pollution"

I suppose you can deduce, those animals are not local.

Singapore haze hits critical 400 level

"SINGAPORE'S smog index has hit the critical 400 level, making it potentially life-threatening to the ill and elderly people, according to a government monitoring site.
The level was reached at 11am (1300 AEST) on Friday......." Read More

I can only reckon it annihilate all their decades of effort and strict regulations to upkeep clean air with anti smoking or smog campaigns. All negated in a few days and factually the worst seen.
No joke..we're not too far away and annual hazard.

I think Indo gahment should respond to Singaporean gahment intelligently, like Singapore has been harbouring many Indonesians money launderers and some Malaysian money launderers. Indonesia is only doing what a right thinking gahment would do i.e. smoke out the money launderers. Too bad for the collateral damage. Until Singapore deports all the money launderers and return all the illegal money, the smoking process will go on.

If you care to go to the online portal for The Jakarta Globe and read this very article about the Minister named Agung calling Singaporeans childish, this minister is being attacked left, right and centre by fellow Indonesians for being stupid and childish himself. One asked him if he remembers which country was at the scene of the 2004 Tsunami in Acheh and which country was the first at the earthquake in Padang..... to lend a hand....

Tonight my sensitive nose detected the dust in the Air. Sneezing non stop. Haze slowly creeping our way?

You're right. Either one is just as bad. I'm asthmatic and I dread each time the haze hits us. I am equipped with water type air cleaner in my bedroom. This is a yearly affair but we missed it last year because of continuous rain

I heard over the radio here that there are 35 big companies from Malaysia and Singapore doing forest clearing works by fire in Indonesia.

They caused the haze and are living in these 2 countries

Looks like a very very hot dry weather outside. Seem the haze is more and more now at Subang. Really want to go out and eat something very spicy, but then decided to cook home.
