Serdang or Putrajaya hospital ?

Can anyone tell their experience on these two hospitals ?

Which is better for specialist operation, shorter waiting time, better ward service ?

Both are almost the same, if you are comparing their eye department. Both hospitals have almost the same amount of eye specialist but Hosp Serdang has more experienced optometrist than putrajaya. Not much difference in terms of waiting time and ward service.

Parking is a big problem in Hosp Serdang unless you go there ard 730am. Hosp Putrajaya parking is much easier to get.

Hosp Serdang canteen food taste better than Hosp Putrajaya canteen.

It also depends on the particular service, e.g. Putrajaya Hospital is strong in Endocrine Surgery. No one hospital can be good in everything.

Based on experiences on heart problems - UMMC would be a better place. Prof Imran is a good.

IJN lah...

heard the Q for cardiac Op is long and can be up to a year or more...can die lah liddat? Better buy lotsa medic insurance and jump Q at private cardiac kinda hosp.

Am not having any cardiac problems but an officer in my office opted to get his heart surgery done at Serdang hospital. when i asked him why not do it at IJN? He told me that there are a number of ex-IJN surgeons at Serdang and the queue is much shorter than IJN. Ask around and determine for yourself if indeed the cardiologists at Serdang are indeed former IJN specialists

From what people told me, IJN is a private hospital and is very expensive.

Whereas Serdang hospital is 100% government and is free.

Putrajaya hospital caters more or give priority to putrajaya residents only.

How true are these ?
