Car Workshops in USJ To Recommend?

    Dear forumers,

Do you have any good car workshops in USJ to recommend? Those that offer competitive prices, are honest and reliable. Thanks!

My regular is CW Auto. Call the boss Mr Chia at 012 3096893 or 03 56331578. It's located at 4, USJ 7/3, which is next to the Metro Bus office and opposite Goodyear Court 3. Please remember to mention you are from usj.com for preferential treatment. Make sure you talk to the boss Mr Chia and not the brother who also works there as a mechanic. Mr Chia is the type of boss/mechanic who will not simply ask you to change this and that just to make a profit. In fact, more often than not, he will ask you not to change if it's still usable. Rgds.

My regular is Ah Wah at the USJ2 Shell Station. Can ask the boss, Ms Bunn first. I find his work ok and they are basically honest.

BUT do not use his freelance Aircon man

I use Master Care Car in SS19/6 behind Restoran Sri Melur. Look for Mr LEE (he is the old-hand mechanic) ... experienced old hand and with me, he has been very straight forward and honest. He has his group of "followers" of uncles with cars ranging from Kancil to BMW ... and some pretty old cars too !! Mine is considered middle-aged - 10 years old.

I normally will go to Auto Focus Repair workshop , is just back to back Top Speed workshop. Opens daily 9.30am onwards. There are 2 person you can look for there :- Ah Wai aka Keng Lei / Paul

Honest about your car, don't simply mark up on accessories and labour. Also provide service like they can send you back home instead of waiting for your car to complete there but provided on the days that they are not super pack timing.

I would normally bring my own preferred engine oil and other stuff that I need to change for them and they will just charge me the labour otherwise any other stuff that is insufficient or they found out that needed to be replace then they will give you a call to confirm if you want it to be replace or not. Ah Wai also has a machine that can help cleans your engine and improve performance of the car.

Busiest time for them is normally on Friday & Saturday. Even on Sunday they are open. That's what I like about cos I would have time to send it over for them to do quick job since there isn't that many people around.

As long as they don't over charge you, should be consider as lucky. I normally look for those nearby my housing area which is convenient so that I don't have to travel so far to get my car fixed.

I have a friend that opens a workshop in near Cheras location. Honest and that area you can service, fix & re-paint / spray your car.
