    Blurred wannabe voter kena slapped!!!

I just slapped somebody on the head ( with his permission as he taller and bigger than me ) when he said he wannabe voting in PRU13!

WHY? Because he is not a registered voter as a Malaysian parent!!!

But he wanna to vote because there is political awakening from what he is seeing so far this year.

So, question is - Does he have time to be registered as a voter in time for PRU13?

Same goes to people who ask "how to change voting area ah?" ..... You had five(5) whole years to do it, but you only choose to think about it two weeks before general elections!?!? Shame on you.....

It has been reported in the newspaper several times in the past.

The election roll is updated every 3 months.

That means he should have registered a few weeks (for processing) before 31 march 2013 (for roll update).

    It's too late now.

Those who registered after 31 dec 2012 will not be able to vote. You know how civil servants work...They need 1 month to read one line of sentence.

I met one of my niece today who has been working all these years in MY bank and complained about anything under the sun to The End.

    This is how it went.....

Niece: Blah Blah Blah Ubah Ubah Ubah
Me : So you gonna to Ubah?
    Niece: Yes , Yes. Yes.
    Me : 1st are you a registered voter ?
    Niece : Nope
Me: Then, stop singing Ubah. And stop talking about birds and bees. It doesnt concern you at all cos you got no rights to decide where you dun even care to register and be counted

Whether u r registered or not also better check. Coz my friend's hubby was 'automatically' registered as a voter by god knows who. He never registered as a voter but when check in spr website, he was a registered voter - same name,ic, address. I told him to make sure he go vote early or someone else may vote in his place.

Yep, you have to be registered by Dec 31, 2012, else pocik liau. What I don't get is that the EC says they update every 3 months. So by right, anyone who registered in between Jan 1 - March 31, 2013 should be deemed a voter but Nooo.. this is not the case. So Me thinks we should all be automatic voters, like practised by some countries, upon reaching 21.

I was talking to a senior neighbor and found out he is from Ipoh Mali and from my same school. He was in London during the infamous MAY13. Came back later as police officer and retired in 2008. From talk about food and wheather, it went to MAY13 , policies and future of MY home from Ukay to USj.

As always, I always ended my conversation with "Are you a registered voter and where would you be voting in 505?"

Amazing but sadly true......he is not a registered voter despite being out from the force!!!

Thought of slapping him even though he acknowledged that is the responsibility of a citizen but dunno if he still packing black WSmith or not.

If auto register, then they can't play cheat. Now they can still randomly register somebody's identity as stand in voter. and they know exactly who's in that list. If auto register then more difficult to cheat aledi. Just my 2 sen playing conspiracy theorist.
