So our forces were bombing an empty or deserted area.

"We hope they have not escaped,” said the Top man who is not even sure.

Earlier I thought our Polis had them all surrounded.

Pakatan warns of prolonged Sabah crisis....Read More> M'sian Insider

    Quote:
"Malaysia could be facing a prolonged “political crisis” in Sabah............News that the Filipino militants claiming allegiance to the Sulu Sultunate could be receiving reinforcements from the Islamist Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF) ...............Philippines intelligence sources have been quoted by the country’s media as saying that the bleak scenario was possible..........MNLF claimed thousands of Suluks, have sailed to Sabah to help their fellow Filipino militants in eastern Sabah."

“Did the government underestimate the threat of the intruders? Why did the intrusion was not taken as an armed threat from the start? Did this happen due to the failure of our intelligence?”
    End Quote

    And there's more....

The big picture is getting clearer by the day......

MNLF chief warns of ‘chaos’ if Sulu Sultan arrested
"President Benigno Aquino III will not be forgiven for standing back while Malaysia rained bombs on Filipino citizens in Sabah, rebel leader Nur Misuari has said, warning of chaos if the self-proclaimed Sulu Sultan Jamalul Kiram III is arrested or his men apprehended."

And the Filipino Gomen is quick to remove label....

"Philippine government did not agree with Malaysia’s “terrorist” label on the armed Sulu intruders" Read Here

The thing is.....there is so much more to this incident that we don't know about, YET!....take this story from Borneo Insider for instance...

BI says on a undated Breaking News [looks like was posted sometime back].....

Leader of Intruders was once ADO in Kudat!

'Raja Muda Azzimudie Kiram [leader of the Intruders], once served as an assistant district officer of Kudat during the reign of former chief minister Tun Datu Mustapha Harun.'

They fully surround the place, bomb the place and declare total defeat of the enemy but cannot find a single body in their follow up operations, so what is going on.or maybe they all went to heaven?

Of course they think they above all, where they even mockingly said it was due to divine intervention that the bombs missed them and not due to tactical military strategy, weak military intelligence or perhaps they have been smarting from previous training camp under Malaysia courtesy if you have been reading the Philippines blogs and commentary. That's why there's no bodies to be found from mopping operation after the bomb fall. ( latest unconfirmed report stated 20 bodies found at news break 4.20pm by Utusan while without personal IGP confirmation.)

These terrorists are getting nowhere in the Pines islands after years of fighting for Islamic independence and with the weaken Pines leadership under AquiNO and the coming GE, these fellas with thier sultanic or satanic calls to claim Sabah. Moreover, Malaysian forces had not been fighting real battle in action. Are we ready for Sulu? Nope, we let them in and camped for weeks before we act.

Therefore, thier military intelligence is pretty above IQ for having such opportunity to strike in Sabah. Moreover, who knows how many Matahari or Bulan spies with MYkad identities are there supporting and feeding them info or intelligence? Fortunately, so far when the villagers were rounded by the Sulu gunman, he was killed by thier bare hands.

If not, once again it proved the wills of the Sabahan to protect the homeland with thier own bared hands against the terrorist armed with M16 who wandered in the village (despite the blockage?).http://my.news.yahoo.com/penduduk-pu...083124778.html

These villagers heroic act is commendable and deserve to be rewarded with Pingat Jasa just as the fallen PDRM died defending NegaraKu.
Still, I dun understand why USA has decided to wash its hands clean by the US ambassador with a statement that sounded "positive" depending on the which angle you look at it. " We are confident that Malaysia and Philippines can resolve this conflict ".

Somebody shared the same bird eye view o0n Sabah Crisis in Sin Chiew under Self endangering - http://www.mysinchew.com/node/83744

It was noted that there are 800,000 Filipino immigrants in Sabah and 200,000 of them have obtained Malaysian citizenship. How many Mata and Hari are there?

Another latest update with a confirmed statement by IGP in the Star under " Lahad Datu: Gunmen now masquerading as local residents ". http://thestar.com.my/news/story.asp...130&sec=nation

Would be pretty damn easy since the darn Govt had probably dished out IC/MyKads to these fellas much earlier.. .... Imagine the cops manning the roadblocks there asking for IDs and these fellas (smirking in their faces ), flashing MyKads to the clueless police officers...

ABOUT TIME... to review and send back all these cheap labor huh....
Uncontrolled entry of foreign workers or massive operations to legalise illegal workers could lead to a threat to the security of the country and its people.

One of the reasons why USA lost the war in Vietnam was and is they could not separate Viet Congs from the Vietnamese.

In Sabah, it will be the same.

Plus their huge numbers, this is going to be one big headache for any Garman

Wat? You mean after all the time and effort from New York to Washington, Ah Jib Gor oopah Obama style USA visit doesnt count in X favor support?

Or probably the 2 in 1 Tango dance with the Pinoy be tighter than our 1Joget style?

I thought the 1Enemy for the USA is terrorism and not about brickbats dispute of bird nest island where they have even send in the naval on display in our dockyard coincidentally?

Did the Sulumen even sum it all in thier intelligence report before embarking ashore?

As for intervention in the fight against No Satu Enemy, did they not just gone from Afghanistan and Iraq, and notably even deep inside Pakistan to royal flush Osama? In fact, I think probably one of my ex colleague is still there in Iraq right now with the US Marine serving tour of duty.
