I have tried a lot of these so-called vitamins/minerals and most of them don't work, so a bit sceptical.

I bought mine at $68, less 20 % = $54 at one of the Cosway outlets in SS3 here.

This was the list price too I saw at several pharmacies. However, some were
listing it recently at $79, but they may give you a discount of up to 30 %,
    so it comes to $55.

Livewell's products are discountable from 20 to 30 %, depending on where you go.

My aircon man reports more energy, but he complains it is very "heaty", so takes
it every 2 or 3 days. This is mainly due to the ginseng content.

Maca, or "Peruvian ginseng", is supposed to be very energizing and adaptogenic,
but I haven't tried it yet. There was Peruvian retailer who encouraged me to try it
a few years ago, but his prices were a bit high.

Ya Lato.... maybe I should walk around the pagoda a few times and pour scented flower water on the Lord Buddha and wash myself with 7 different flowers hahaha...

But I am sure you know how it is with me... I am always very willing to oblige others and even at times go out of the way to do so but if people don't keep to their words and promises and just pull a fast one, what can I do? I am not going to change my easy-going manner just because a few fellas come skim me off a few thousands now and then, just need to be more discrete I guess, but still I am not going to change my style... I will help when I can...

I have met people who came to Penang and hosted them at the hawker centre and even at the best nyonya restaurant simply because they PM'ed me in the forum. Gave them tausar piah and sesame oil from Ghee Hiang but nver saw them post again in the forum nor heard from them after their visit to Penang... but what can I do, these are people in the late 50s and 60s with family so how can I turn them down when they PM'ed me?

Sm, I think being a easy going and obliging person is a virtue, no need to change due to a few "bad" experiences.
I am sure there are more "good" experiences than "bad" u hv encountered.

Talking about genes it does help a lot. At my age (on the wrong side of 50) i have 3/4 white hairs which is not so much as compared with the general population. I guess i got it from my mothers side as she is 80 plus and she still have 70 percent black hair. My friends whom i do not see for sometime would assume that I dye my hair.

No, I wasn't that clever to be an "express class" student... you knew that! It is my uneducated / illiterate Dad who registered me for school one year too early and probably the school also accepted so two wrongs made one right. That was why I graduated at 21 instead of 22 or 23....

A few forumers have sent me PMs and some blasted me off but let me explain...

Few months back, I had been running in and out on business trips... from Penang to KLIA (transit) to Soekarno-Hatta and then onward to Banjarmasin (Kalimantan) and then while putting up in a hotel there, had to travel by 4x4 to the mines like 4-5 hours one way and having to get up in the morning at 5am etc and then discussions / negotiations till past midnights etc... I didn't realize the toll this was taking on my body. I am going on 53, not 35... and I felt real lethargic and tired. Thinking those few hours of napping in the 4x4 was helping me get back my energy etc was wrong... over the long term, whether you like it or not, the entire system collapses...

But I had no choice. Work was at a crucial stage. Competition was tough and investors were spoilt for choices and we had to work real hard...

And so comes a jolly good fellow at the right time offering something to rebuild the destroyed cells, rebuild the immunity and give back all the energy blah blah blah... it was God sent!!! The fact that this good old fellow was an old buddy from the USJ Community, supposedly a successful businessman, a community leader, etc., makes my decision easier.

Just about 1 week into consumption, my old haemorrhoid inflammations start to recur... my blood glucose went out of control and I couldn't sleep well anymore.... so I raised the issues but was told these are normal INITIAL reactions... they will go away...

It didn't go away and so after the advices that were promised from their Japanese experts did not come, I just dropped the damn supplements... everything switched back to normal, my blood glucose was back to normal controlled level, my sleep was like a baby and I don't feel hot in the butt when I disembowel...

So I asked to return the stuff since it was "money back guarantee" but I guess its my money down the drain but its OK coz I get my health (or whatever that was left) back... and I get another valuable lesson although I don't need it at this age...

Hope this kinda explain how I got into this spot my friends...

supplements only part of the equation to longevity. Heard of BLUE ZONE ? This was a study used to identify a demographic and/or geographic area of the world where people live measurably longer lives. go read up on it.. very interesting...
