If somebody from the forum tries to get you involved in some supplements that will bring you back your lost health etc - just don't get involved... the product is not even approved by the Ministry of Health!

I have been conned... and promises of answers from Japanese experts why it doesn't work for me and money back guarantee etc - its all bullshit! So much for trust and respect for someone from this forum. They don't even bother to respond to my SMS anymore when I ask to bring the stocks to KL!

I don't know what my wife did with the balance of my stock but I have paid thousands of ringgit and now back to just my trusted old Spirulina.... just a lesson learn...

Money isn't everything.... sure I lost about RM3000 but at least I stopped consuming the product early!

SM, sorry to hear this.SM,at your age in mid 50,s you do not need all those "miracle supplements',just do breeze walking in the beach every day and some strecthing your body is good enuff for you...but cut your cigars and single malt..

MLM company product? Anyway to benchmark against our biro or MOH is not 100% correct. Many reasons are involved in not getting approval for a product in Malaysia including bribery. Therefore better to check against downunder or south neighbour for the product registration details. Unless its buatan Malaysia fake product.
I have seen many products do not have clinical trials documented too. Consume at your own risks. Thats doesnt mean they are not good.
I would say RM 3000 is a small price to know a friend.

why not name and shame the person? Especially with proof. It depends on how one does it. You can state the facts such as so and so are now selling these products and I am a very dissatisfied customer.

I have heard so many times these kind of cases and while I am lucky (because I am a naturally skeptical person), others were not. I have seen how someone are willing to con others, those being conned get angry for a few years and then all are forgiven after a few more years. And we wonder why there are so many con jobs in Malaysia?
We only have ourselves to blame by being nice to those who mistreated us.

Jan is right.. there is hardly a better way to stay healthy.

I think the spirulina that you consume is good stuff and should continue with it.

Apart from food and exercise… rest at the right time (11pm-6am) is important too to stay healthy.

Aside from some multi vitamins (which may be necessary if we do not have a balanced diet), i think any other stuff are not necessary aside from exercise and a healthy diet with the occasional bkt/roast pork/hokkien mee/char kwey teow/curry mee and the mandatory beer and or whisky.

I am easy going guy.... i.e. I am nice guy until somebody steps on my toes or stab me or double cross me... thus I trust quite easily. And I ALWAYS help others and ALWAYS willing to give a hand to others....

In this particular case, I was taken in by the presentation and sounds logical etc so I decided to give it a try. Afterall I am given 4 bottles to try first.... but halfway through my 4 bottles and not knowing the effect, I was asked if they could use my credit card to sign for the package. I had signed a form earlier with my credit card details and everything because if the product works, I can take on a package which is supposed to be cheaper. But the air freight alone is USD199 (RM600!)

One day while I was boarding my flight at Penang Airport to KL onward bound to Jakarta, I received a call and was asked if they could use my credit card to get some stocks.... so I thought I was helping out in their logistics so I said yes.

Later I found out, I had activated my package! I had problem, I had inflammation of my old problem like haemorrhoids but was told its normal in the beginning. I couldn't sleep etc and so I was told my case is rare and thus will be referred to their product specialist in Japan.

Nothing came....

I asked for the products to be returned and my money returned... and after some pushing, I received an sms saying they are coming to Penang. But on the day they came, I had my phone in my club locker as I took my boat out for a trip half way round the island as I need to run-in the new fuel pump I had replaced for the Volvo Penta diesel engine.... I did not know they were in Penang...

When I came to KL the weekend after, I brought the stocks with me and sms them, no response....

So, that was it until now, one month later.... this case is now > 3 or 4 months altogether...

You don't need to buy your supplements from any MLM company.

MLM is just what the name implies - clever marketing.

You can obtain virtually any supplement you need from any health food store
such as Iherb and Vitacost. MLM companies bring in some of these and promote
them to the gullible public as some super "miracle" supplement under their crafty,
highly profitable pyramid scheme, skyrocketing the price up several hundred percent
by the time it reaches you.

RM3K is a lot to test out some supplements, though you are not the first that I have heard of such stories. I had a friend who ended up buying a few cases of some health drink which cost 27K [or around there]. He tried 1 bottle and felt good....by the 2nd bottle, he was having constipation and sleepless nights [could be the maxed out CC ]

I think adding on some supplements can help....but keep it simple. Spirulina is good and cheap

End of the day.....we still need to watch what we eat and try our best to get the best nutrition from it. Enjoy everything, don't deprive yourself but..... Everything in moderation, be it food and drink, and let your body tell you when you have had enough, not your greed

You should have a "core" first, regardless of what supplement regimen you take up.
At your age, which is around mine too, start off with a good, well formulated
multivitamin/mineral, in order to cover all the bases. Virtually all life extensionists
have one as the core of their life extension, or antiaging, protocol.

I chose it because it has a small amount of CA Meyer's ginseng, 40 mg, as well as
as a small amount of iron, 7 mg, which is what I want for my old man, not the full
18 mg "daily requirement" level included in some cheap multivits like Centrum.
Secondly, it is a convenient one-a-day. It's quite difficult getting most people to
take two or three multivit capsules daily, let alone six, as with some of the cutting-edge

The second reason I selected it is due to the moderately good amounts of lutein and lycopene,
antioxidants whose benefits I am sure you know about.


Ideally, they are supposed to list out which salts or forms they use in their formulation,
as most of the cutting-edge ones in the US do, but local manufacturers are not up to

For example, they just list it as "iron", which is likely to be ferrous sulfate or fumarate,

and some multivits have choices which exclude this as well.


Because DailySential 45+ does not have calcium and magnesium (that is how they
managed to squeeze everything into just one capsule - these two take up lots of space),
include in OsteCal by the same company. You can buy this anywhere, low cost.
Only downside is it is a big, oval tablet, but you can break this up.

Mind telling me how much is the price roughly ?

Is it effective ? I mean after taking it, would an 'old' guy feel more energetic and less sleepy in the late afternoon ?

I have tried a lot of these so-called vitamins/minerals and most of them don't work, so a bit sceptical.
