Go Get Your Waiver from TM

Would like to share this as I am sure many customers are still paying the Rm25 rental for TM line even though, since July 2012, TM has waived the rental for your TM phone line if you are an existing Unifi customer.

You need to go to TM and tell them that you want the waiver, and they will process for you. Shouldn't they be doing this automatically without us asking for it.

I've kicked this service out of my house 2 months ago...no more paying them anything, so I reckon I ain't qualified for any waiver..

A little difficult for them to do it automatically.....I think, technically, the are 2 different companies.....only share the same roof and parent.

May I ask, does the Home Unifi package allows nation wide fix line calls for free?

Yes, it's free as long as it is a TM fixed line. Nationwide. If you download big files all the time and have many friends all over Malaysia with a fixed TM line, you will want to subscribe to Unifi!

And it comes with multi channels but lousy programs at Rm8 ringgit per channel.

The only Channels which are decent is probably BBC and Sports where I could watch Gordon Ramsay, American Football and my son watching Europa football in real time. And it is super clear when I switch on the regular TV programs.

Just for your info, Streamyx has similar package as well. Unifi - fiber optics line and streamyx (as some call it screamyx) is the existing copper line.

Has anyone applied for the waiver and did you get it?

I've already terminated any damn subscribership with this company, NO MORE!..will never want to have anything to do with them anymore, hopefully for the rest of my life..and that'll be my aim for any other GL companies that I think are leeches.

buddy - tell me (please!) which GLC is NOT a leech ? Heck, just look at Syabas - how the fish did JBAS (Jabatan Bekalan Air Selangor) end up being a bunch of privatized entities... where the CEO is paid MILLIONS a year .. and yet pipes run dry
