If you are going to Kyoto, can skip Asakusa.. What you see in Asakusa, you will have enough of them in Kyoto and much better ones.

Hmm.. Kawaguchi lake, I think it is cherry blossom time at the base of Mount Fuji now.

I have been to ALL major cities in Japan except Okinawa island. This year have to choose to go east because Europe is not safe at the moment. Will go Sapporo, Otaru, Niseko, Toyako, Jozankei etc in autumn just to enjoy the scenery of seasonal color-changing, onsen and the seafood.

Hmm, I noticed the difference between mas and airasia is in the nasi lemak....

One comes with nothing, one comes with "something extra"...

    Well, I am glad that
    - I have never boarded airasia before
    - I have stopped flying mas about 7-8 years ago...

I'm reckoning this is could be a QC issue at the food vendor. I'm disregarding sabotage or bad hearted crew doing this to spite the passenger or airline. The food is a sealed pack that's kept warm in the plane food warmer then served later on. How something else got into it during flight or airport storage is indeed perplexing. Let them investigate. Bad things happen one time or other and I know their SOP is inline with food industry or hotel standard, nothing less. Quality of taste is another matter. Anyway, IMO, insistence of making a police report is really going out of the way to get back at them. Of course they're entitled to make hellava noise with the airline management at the airport.

    Tonight's mystery .......Read on......

    'Japan Quake Mystery!'

    'Unusual quake cluster worries Japan'

"Seismic activity in southern Japan is mystifying geologists and keeping the nation on edge."

"I don't quite understand what is happening with the recent earthquakes, because it's an unfamiliar phenomenon," said Yoshihisa Iio, a professor at Kyoto University's Research Center for Earthquake Prediction.

You might want to add this for your reading.....

'Dozens Of Large Earthquakes Strike As Speculation Mounts That Japanís Southern Island May Split'

"Over the past 48 hours, our planet has been hit by literally dozens of earthquakes of magnitude 4.0 or greater, and scientists are acknowledging that what is taking place is highly unusual..... over the weekend the seismic activity just continued to escalate. "

"The dozens of earthquakes that have hit Japanís southern island over the past week appear to form something of a straight line that divides the island in two. Many are now speculating that geological forces are beginning to tear Kyushu in half, and if that is true, the earthquake activity that we have seen in Japan so far is probably just the tip of the iceberg".

I noticed price of 10 & 20kg rice have slightly increased at Speedmart99. Maybe their wholesale price have increased.
Not forgetting a lot of rice is now imported. Again, Malaysia is too dependent on imports, thus at the mercy of any obvious reason.
It makes me jealous Thailand citizens are better off than us. Their top quality rice is far cheaper than what we have here.

"The cloud seeding operations based at the Subang Airport and Penang will be continued today as usual and has succeeded in producing rain in several areas."

I am at Perth airport flying to Malaysia but found there is a long delay of over 2 hours.

What piss me off is no notice by phone or email unlike other airlines.

CPA would have keep you up to date.

MAS is doing nothing... I am mad....Malaysia National Carrier has gone down the drain.

    More complaint about MAS.

When you call MAS from overseas, you call a certain number ending in .....33000.

MAS does not pick up the phone anymore from overseas but pass it to agent.

Previously MAS picks up the phone and matters can be sorted out.

But now, your trunk call from overseas is place in a long queue.

I was number 38 and i was made to wait because you could not into a Call Back Mode.

By the time ii was my turn to speak it was already 83 minutes.

Imagine the cost of my trunk call for 83 minutes wait.

Yes, MAS do not care anymore.
