    Question USJ2/4R Attempted Break-in, Silver Merc W__8836

Yesterday, 11/12/2012 (Sultan Selangor Birthday Holiday), around 9.15pm, there was a mercedes W__8836 parking outside of my autogate, my dog barked very fiercely, so I went out to have a look in my car port, and found out that a chinese dude covering his face with cloth planning to climb out from my wall fence. He ran away because of my dog. I managed to record down his car license plate, which is start with "W", but can't remember another 2 alphabet, the number is 8836. I have informed the security guard in USJ2, but they did not manage to find the car.

    Everyone please beware of this.

I find that people in gated and guarded community tend to inform their guards when crime happened. What can you expect them to do when they can hardly understand what you are trying to tell them. Gosh, they dont even have any resources to help them apprehend the criminals. In fact most of them are helpless. I greatly admire your vigilant dog. It is even better than them. But why didn't you call the USJ 8 Balai Polis? I guess you don't have their number either.

I have the number, it's just happened within few second. I guess that person who came in got shock when saw my dog. The nearest person that might be able to spot them is the guards, so I informed them instead of police, and police take maybe 10 minutes to reach my house with the traffic plus the LRT. construction there.

thanks for the update.... Will try to keep both eyes and ears open more often ... my dogs are also very vigilant but they also tend to bark at anyone who passes or even tries to stop in front of the gate ....

Have you rewarded the beloved doggy ?

if u tend to know ur dog, he will have different kind of bark and sounds in different situation, so he is my 1st house alarm if there is anyone near my house , I never reward him, just told my dog that he is done something right, reward only when my dog really do something impress me a lot, just like saving a baby from a poison snake.

If you keep your dog in your compound all the time, when is he going to have the opportunity to do a deed or feat such that he will be rewarded by you. So now that you have told us and most probably him about the baby and a poisonous snake, what is the probability of you having a baby or poisonous snakes crawling in USJ 2/4R and the two meeting each other? Come on. Just give him some treats or chicken bones and make him feel happy. After all it is nearing Christmas and tis the season to be jolly and do something nice. I love dogs and I want him to be feel great. Send my best regards to him and tell him for me that he has done not only something right but a great job!! If I strike it rich with the empat ekor number 8836, I am going to your house with a turkey - not for you but for him. MERRY CHRISTMAS to both of you.

A quick update on this matter. A couple of days back, my neighbour informed me that a Sliver Mercedes ( big version , maybe E Class ) stopped in front of a house ( a few houses down the street from my house ) and then some Middle Eastern guy got down and started pressing the doorbell. Getting no answer, the same guy drove to the back lanes and started to look for ways to break into the house.

Now, reason being we got to know all this is because the particular house has installed CCTV and he has all of it on video. That guy didn't managed to break in at the time due to reasons unknown to house owner. Maybe it is because he spotted the CCTV at the back of the house or the security was too good for him at that time.

Nevertheless, he left but the CCTV caught his image clearly and the house owner forwarded it to the police and now the police patrols round on the new super bikes or patrol cars.

When my neighbour mentioned this to me, it gave me a flashback about this story which was mentioned in the forum earlier.

    come to think of it....

it might be their modus operandi....... rang the doorbell... see no one answering... then go back lane and try their luck....

walaweii... must have someone at home all the times???

When I renovated my house, I didn't install any doorbell so those guys need to "work" something else out ....
