ok.. hope this helps, even though it may not be the most efficient way:

    1. download Mozilla Firefox browser
    2. install video download helper (free add-on from firefox)
    3. you can now save all the video clips, whether youtube or any other playable clip as FLV (flash video)
    4. download FLV converter (there are many free versions available. I am out of touch with the latest/best one, so try to search)
    5. convert FLV file to avi file. If you are lucky, the video and sound MAY be synchronized. This is the longest process, especially if the conversion is frame-to-frame, meaning a 10 min FLV would take 10 min to be converted to avi.
    6. burn the avi file onto the CD or DVD using Nero software, or the software that comes with ur DVD writer
    7. after successfully running the DVD, you can make copies using that DVD

I am able to do mine as I posted earlier but I am always ready to try other methods.

    OK, thanks for the tips.

I'll have a go with your suggestion.

Yes, I'll definitely look into this Freemake Video Converter.

In the meantime, I found it can be done by:-

Then use this convert to DVD. I had done it and it works.

    Cheers
This is purely my choice after testing the tips here.

    1. Download from You Tube using this & save it

    http://download.cnet.com/Free-YouTub...-75219434.html

    2. Use Freemake Video Converter:- Drag as many videos as you like & burn them into DVD.

    It is so easy.

BTW, I am leaving out that AVS Video Converter 8.2 -Non Activated for burning because there is a watermark & you have to pay US$59/= to remove it.

Thank you all you good people.

Clicked on the link and got a 404.

If I need to download from Youtube, I normally just use the DownloadHelper plugin (as eddychan suggested) in Firefox. If cannot download, I just scream, arrrr...bl**dy h*ll, forget it.

There is a shop next to Popular in USJ Summit mall that does this service a couple of years ago when I converted some old Betamax and VHS. The shop is still there today but whether it still provides the same services I am not so sure.
