The first debate was really a trap for Lim Guan Eng by MCA.

They should have called his father Lim Kit Siang to debate as he is a much seasoned speaker.

And how can Chua Soi Lek hold the debate with his horrendous mandarin spoken with a angmoh accent ? Wouldn't it better to hold the debate in English if your chinese is not up to standard ?

it is IMHO in order for the papers whether it owned it or not, it should show impartiality and fairness......rather than trumpeting or reporting what we called on selective deafness oir blindness. Journalism is supposely a respectable media by journalists or editor to report what they saw or heard, not Kah Liew or Kam Liew

Me, I like the part of the policy of TDM with Wawasan 2020 which was discussed indirectly by LGE where he pointed out how the Koreans who were having lower income back then is seeing clearer than us, richer than us, and definitely more advance than us despite having the headstart granduer of Multimedia Super Corridor back in the 90's.

Fast forward to today's reality , we are so far lagging behind that we are in Kaki Lima compared to Korea, China or India. See that? We are supposely beat iPhone with SangJib's Durianseed instead of Samsung Galaxy

No need to look at Korea, just look at Singapore which started out at the same footing as Malaya in 1965 when 1 Sing dollar = 1 Ringgit but ...

Now their Sing dollar = 2.5 Ringgit which is the SAME rate as one American dollar before 1997.

I did! I didnt compared it with Bangladeshi, Pakistan, Indonesia or some far far away waga waga African countries. In fact, my comparision is with Korea in specific where it resembles more to Malaysia because of lower GNP and the way of political croynism comes into play like Malaysia Boleh of Mesti Ada Saudara. Koreans. Those corporation in Korea those days are like ours with heavy political patronage.

And if I compared with China, it would be lagi teruk looking. Those days back my father used to send monies to China for the relatives like many Malaysian Chinese. Nowadays, these mainland Chinese are buying not houses in Kepong but Condos to Bungalows at Desa Park City which is bordering Kepong! And I was there in Shanghai in 1989 where it was just a Shanghai bund with bicycles. Now, Shanghai is jammed with Audi, BMW and Mercedes.

While Malaysia is using eye glasses to see Vision 20/20 from Super Multimedia Corridor launched by TDM in Cyuberjaya , these countries from China to Korea, India to Singapura is seeing things with telescopic lenses where they have upstarted some world class global branding of websites to phone galaxy, outsource cusotmer services to wifi services throughout thier cities.

Amazing but true, we have to rely on millions of acres of lands with palm or rubber trees in our fell da .com.my, but still kenot upstage facebook.com in IPO which relies on millions of users in the internet. Sumore, our leaders seems proud of that. Landsizes of facebook.com probably not more than 100 acres. iSayman!!!
