Based on his above reply, Dr Loi definitely did NOT act on your cry for help to rectify the faulty street lights in your area for fear of accidents or even street crimes in areas with poor lighting. So there is no need to thank him.

MPSJ and TNB some time ago told me that it is foolish to send their crew to change light bulbs just because of one blown bulb. It is not that they are afraid that you all will joke about how MPSJ or TNG crew members it takes to change a light bulb but rather it is not economical or make cow sense to send a crew members of 4 people in a crane just to change a light bulb. So they actually have a SOP on attending to blown bulbs which they would not want to share with us lest you start causing other street lamps to blow just to meet the required quota to get them to attend to your complaint.

Actually, it was my heart which was broken, when he tak layan gua.
Three weeks have passed and the status is still 'Approval Pending' from him.
I think he dislikes residents 'stalking' him, so he 'hides' himself in his little 'cocoon' from the prying eyes of residents.
Not that I like to kachau my councillor all the time but only just interested to know what my councillor is up to.

    Hi Rajiv,

I'm Leong and I stay along USJ 3A/11.
Between this road, is my house, and NKVE (Batu Tiga interchange).

Therefore, there is a hillside separating NKVE and USJ 3A/11.
Along the top side of this hill, runs a zinc fence (the normal ones) along the perimeter of the USJ 3A neighbourhood.

For terminology sake, the zinc fence is demarcated by poles, and the fence itself is supported along its length by this poles. Between each poles, is what I will call a section.

Last week, I noticed that 5 sections of the fence has been cut-down/torn down. There is no fence right now in between a series of stand alone poles.

I have pictures to show, but I can't post it here since it will be too small to see the missing fences. It requires high resolution photography bottom of hillside to show the grains of a fence, or in this case, the lack of the fence itself.

My first foremost concern is safety, as cases of intrusion into the neighbourhood has happened before, not to mention that there is a pack of stray dogs (4-5 of them) running loose in/out of the fence.

I have sent in an "Aduan" to MPSJ regarding the missing fences and request for repair works to be done.
    No. Aduan ": 0280/09/2012 (1)

MPSJ has replied my aduan : Tarikh (5th Sept 2012).

    Ulasan Aduan :
Lawatan tapak pada 04.09.12 mendapati tiada kerosakan pada pagar.
Pagar keselamatan berkaitan adalah di bawah tanggungjawab pihak pengurusan taman tersebut. Sekian.

I called the MPSJ hotline after that, and spoke to Pembantu Penguatkuasa (En. Mohd Azahar) who patiently explained to me that I should come to MPSJ office on Tuesday (18th Sep) during office hours to seek a clarification as he is not on duty during the time I called the hotline. (03-5637 6545).

He also alluded that the fence may not be MPSJ' jurisdiction, but it should belong to Pengurusan Penduduk or MHA. And asked me to lodge a report with them.

I have no idea who owns the fence. And who should be approached for the fence to be fixed asap.

Let me know if you need the pictures, I can upload/send it through.
Appreciate your quick revert on next steps.

    Leong.

I was so 'happy' when I saw the road surfacing equipments at USJ 6/5 yesterday morning thinking that finally after more than 20 years the road in front of my house is getting resurfaced!!! DISAPPOINTMENT when only found later that only the ENTRANCE from Persiaran Kewajipan to USJ6/5 was resurfaced. Asked the contractor, he said that was only his order.

Asking for a total road surfaced might be 'TOO MUCH' but at least repair the potholes all over the road. Councillors do something about the potholes!!!!! Councillor LOI WHERE ARE YOU???????????

    Hi Dr Loi,
Since the Da Men construction and LRT construction started, Persiaran Kewajipan heading towards USJ is filled with pot holes e.g. right in front of Da Men before the turning towards Mydin traffic light, in front of Shell and many more along the way until Petronas station USJ 14. Some of the holes are really huge deep. With rainy season coming, it is very dangerous especially at night because you can't see them clearly. Whose responsiblity is it to resurface the roads? MPSJ or the contractors?

I hope something can be done here, but unsure if its MPSJ or Federal road.
The location is at the 2nd entrance to Subang Jaya at beginning the curve going up onwards Persiaran Tujuan. KTM railway track is underneath this road. Whenever its heavy rain this location is waterlogged and a bottle neck would happen and can cause traffic jam, all avoiding the waterlog. I think the outlet drains at this curve are seriously blocked. I've noticed this on many occasions and I don't think anything significant have been done.
Another location is Jalan Pengaturcara, from Glenmarie to Subang, one way overhead road to SJ, somewhere overhead the Federal Highway, ALSO waterlogged after rain.
    Boleh kau tim ke?

The potholes have been patched up, thank you. But the big one in front of Da Men is appearing again. Seems that the contractors didn't do a good job or using low quality material?
