Does anyone know where I can purchase a reclining lazy chair for my dad - something simple nothing bulky minus the massaging functions (preferably) and cost effective too, of course.
It's for my dad. He had one til yesterday.
He plopped to the floor with the old junk!
Hence, your suggestions and recos are much appreciated.

U can look at a Lazyboy recliner from Harvey Norman. They are a bit pricey, but they have a good mechanism, as compared to those italian designs, where the handle breaks off very quickly. The recliner handle for a Lazyboy sticks out (ugly), but it is very functional.
They have leather and fabric. As to which is better, I think there are more competent advisers out there.
I'm still using my Lazyboy, which is almost 10 years old now, and still working perfectly. There is one disadvantage, tho, as they are designed for tall people, meaning if the chair is not reclined, chances are your feet won't touch the floor.. u either have to put an additional support for the feet, or get used to the dangling, or simply recline it always.
