Election Fund Raising

Recently a very nice and friendly forumer I have known wrote me an email and requested that I give some financial support to YB Hannah's campaign fund for her reelection. I like YB Hannah's work and I fully support her for reelection as ADUN Subang Jaya if she chooses to stand again. I will even support her if she stands as MP for Kelana Jaya (which includes SJ/USJ)

I replied to our friendly forumer then that while I support YB Hannah, it is been a bitter experience for many of us from USJ/SJ the last GE12... at that time many of us actively solicited funds for the candidate who was strongly rumored to stand for MP Kelana Jaya, YB Jeff Ooi...

Even when he was then rumored for Serdang because Yap Pian Hon was sidelined... I was still collecting election funds for him, RM2-3K per person....

I am very good at begging for money, at least for elections from my friends... but somehow I feel very sad after what happened the last time. YB Jeff Ooi went to stand in Jelutong and even people like me could not reach him... he just doesn't pick up phone calls nor returned my call... in fact we were supposed to have teh tarek in Penang, where I live now, on May 3, 2008! He never confirmed and didn't show either.

If he thinks we are after him for projects or whatever, forget it lah YB. The money we gave you more than the profits we could make building longkang for Jelutong market lah....

So I hoep YB Hannah understands why some of us just don't have the enthusiasm this time around, blame it on YB Jeff Ooi... kacang lupaka kan kuliT!

Kelana Jaya would be contested under Keadilan. Hannah Yeoh is a DAP member so she cannot stand for both. Maybe we can ask her hubby to join DAP and contest as neighbouring sunway ADUN.

Correct me ( I may be wrong ) but didn't Jeff mention that the monies collected for his 2008 campaign would be fully accounted for - so far no accounts showed but rebuke ada... haizzz... sometimes I wonder....

Anyway - if Hannah stands for reelection, she sure as hell would know - she's got 2 votes from 2 fellas who incidentally is NOT staying in her contituency...

Yup and YB hannah will get her fair share of financial support from many of us, thats for sure... unlike those parasite from MCA like Burntan who would only think of what is in there for them and yet got the blardy cheek to call others selfish and narrow-minded! Tak sedar diri...

Hello Burntan, our support is not conditional like you and not in RM100 notes... they are in cheques and you can double check with Jeff Ooi....

Erected Fund Raising for longkang?

It is almost free now to contest and fight as elected representative as it was proven and admitted by a Minister that even a phone can overthrow a Gomen. Me - I would be contributing candle lights, bottles, SMS, tweets or FB for representative of my choice without fears or favors.

And as far as Hannah Yeoh is concerned, You da Man everywhere you stand.

No Worry, B Happy. Topics do go out from left hand to right hand. I see no problem lah. Just raising up some fun to cool the tensions in this hazy thread. Ban or Banana is no fun as it deter others from postings but then sometimes it does get out of hand where people do not agree to disagree.
