Do you know that Johor Sultan don't even need a number plate for his cars? Many of his cars didn't even put on a number plate, just a general signboard with "TMJ" (refer to collection of TMJ hot cars ). So, even if he wish to have one like the WWW1, he can also ask for it for FREE, I am sure JPJ love to offer this as a gift. The only reason I can think of he opt to pay for it is because he wanted to contribute like others.

All Sultan can have the respective Nombor from thier own states. So Sultan of Johor can have JJJ1. Perak Sultan can have AAA1. But WWW1 or WWW15 is federal. Since the tender is call for and no numbers is being listed as gift, everybody takes the efforts to tender for it with bank draft. I am sure there were bids from the public for it.

So, it is a question of 1Transformasi where transparence of tender where hand job is involved.

The questions here are -
1. One day he bought the plate for RM24,200!
2. One day treasury says we did not pay for it!
3. One day is we don't know who paid for it?
4. One day is RTD gave it for free!

I think certain numbers should be reserved for Sultans, VVIP, Ministers etc for FREE.

Create certain numbers where the public can tender for them.

This way the Goman can make some money if that is the intention.

In this case, the Goman did not get that RM$24,000/= even though it sounds like a lot of $$$$$ for a plate
