What are you implying? The USJ admin is apolitical. All mods and admins must not take sides but to moderate objectively. Perhaps when you can't find political posts in the main forum, you think it was yanked? Most probably it was moved to chatterbox.

And finally, the Kewangan official did came up with the statement that no wang allocation for Wang Wang Wang 15 number plate, woh?

And to put the matter at rest, just produce the cheque which was paid for the tender and we would know which Kewangan officers signed the cheque or towkay who offer such a gesture. for the minstar car without nombor. Why beat the bush or with that kind of "beat me, deer with just one eye, who knows or God knows?

I do search for answers in the net for answer especially with the credible links and I be a judge what is the truth, half truth or lies. As for the main streams, I do find truth, half truth and lies as well espeically it is owned and editted with fears and favors.

Whole truth and nothing but the truth or hole truth and nothing except the truth?????
    Who said that? CSL did.
This is what happend (I guess), the minister think he actually entitle for one (every minister are eligible for one number according to him), so he didn't prepare to pay for it, just apply for it, but someone from his office make a mistake to place a bid for it without his knowledge, that's why when questioned by reporters, he can't answer who is going to pay for it. Like I said, this is just technical problem, eventually MoH won't need to pay JPJ and JPJ won't complain about it. The minister ONLY need to answer back to PM and I am pretty sure the PM will accept his explaination and close the case.

As for the Treasure Dept, they are just telling the truth, which is no money allocated for minister to bid number plate, simply because minister don't need that. Minister are eligible for one, no need to bid and pay for it.

Leaving politics aside, the fact is IF it is indeed free, there is still the question of opportunity cost to the tax payers, wouldnt that be correct?

All he has to do is just tell the bloody truth:

"I am the Minister of Health, my old car is to be replaced and since I have the privilege to choose a number, I chose WWW15 and I believe it is a practice that the government will undertake the cost"

"I believe there were some tear gas canisters fired that could have landed in the Tung Shin Hospital compound, this is really unfortunate, and we will definitely take this issue up with the enforcers and ensure that it will not be repeated"

He should learn from the man sitting next to him how to kill a controversy fast in the media by just telling the inevitable truth! YES IT WAS ME IN THE VIDEO! My only mistake was I used the same hotel room all the time - of course this second part of the statement also shows the stupidity that exist in our ministers....

His only misteak was he was unsure which hands were used to pay the hotel room and other expenses while which eyes were watching the moves

Do you know that Johor Sultan don't even need a number plate for his cars? Many of his cars didn't even put on a number plate, just a general signboard with "TMJ" (refer to collection of TMJ hot cars ). So, even if he wish to have one like the WWW1, he can also ask for it for FREE, I am sure JPJ love to offer this as a gift. The only reason I can think of he opt to pay for it is because he wanted to contribute like others.

Let's be fair to Liow, he seems to be a victim of circumstances.

As u can see in the interview, he has no answer, where the process and procedure was not handle personnally by him. He just get his officers to handle them as like normal. Just that he has picked a number when asked what number he wants. Not speaking for him, but his interview shows he is not telling a lie, just dun know how these things work - within the RTD and Ministry.

CSL coming in to comment that it goes from 'left hand to right hand' really speaks of lack of transparency. So, the issue is really about lack of transparency within garmen depts. And this is really the crux of the matter.

An article in Malaysian Insider says RTD given the number for free.
    Article: here

What I'm surprised is that I din hear journalists asking him, "Did u bid the number for that amount, or u just took it for granted the number will be given to u without putting a bid?" Looks like that attention will now be focused on RTD/JPJ..?

    The questions here are -
    1. One day he bought the plate for RM24,200!
    2. One day treasury says we did not pay for it!
    3. One day is we don't know who paid for it?
    4. One day is RTD gave it for free!
