Tiger Woods managed to produce some magic to win the Memorial Tournament and add a second title for the year. Woods's (lucky?) chip-in on the short 16th was the decisive moment in his victory to equal Jack Nicklaus's total of 73 PGA Tour titles. In the same tournament Rory McIlroy missed the cut. Can Tiger maintain his form in the coming US Open? It shows that sports requires more than skills. It needs mental strength to succeed. Tiger had that mental strength before his failed marriage let him down. He also had his share of injuries. If he makes a comeback it will be the most inspiring story in golf, although his personal life is not that inspiring.
