    Attempted Robbery at bus stop

Yesterday morning, around 6.30am, a group consisting of 2 women and 2 men were waiting at the bus stop in front of Arcadia Apt, USJ 11. One of the ladies was my Mrs. A group of 7-9 guys on bikes stopped at the bus stop and a few got down demanding for their wallets and phones. My wife turned and ran away and in that process, twisted both her feet and she's now in cast, both feet for fracture at her ankle.

Please be careful. And if I may so humbly ask, if anyone has any crutches that we can loan or purchase, please kindly PM me. Thank you.

Well... the Security company don't pay enough to the guards to do anything else...
They suppose to just observe and inform the police...

Heck, a woman get raped and robbed of the car through the gated and guarded Mont Kiara with her driving licence given to the robbers by the guards. How blurred is that?
Paying foreigners with RM1,000 and trust them with sense of secuirty? Of all the gated and guarded, there is one where the devilish tread to go - Sierramas residences where secuirty is skin tight and the guards are armed wioth shotguns. EVen then, I rather trust with my own shooting ability.

Most of the condo/residence security guards are lowly paid.

They think their job is just to open and close gates and register visitors.

I should highlight some good things our guards did so that there is a more balanced view of security guards. Last week there was an attempted break-in in our area at about 2.45 am. The guards on patrol saw them and they fled (I believe the guards chased them.) The guards alerted the residence committee who came out to patrol. Later (no time given) the same perpetrators came back and this time they were chased by both the guards and the residences. But they escaped over the fence.

So, there are bad guards and there are good guards.

    Hi Lord

I have a tongkat if you need one. Let me know if you need it.
    Sorry about your missus, though.

Good guards are in the minority.

Mind telling me the name of the security company just in case we need to start looking for another one.

I will have to check with the committee. Good question though.

How the heck is the security company going to pay the guards properly when we have residents that don't want to help share the cost of engaging the security guards in the first place..... yet quietly want to have the security guards in place....

AND when sh!t happens - condemnations and comments comes fast and hard but when time to contribute to the funds - BATANG HIDUNG TAK NAMPAK!

Speaking of which.... while the cops are hardly seen patrolling the suburbia of Subang Jaya and USJ, has anyone noticed the sudden increase in (the presence of traffic) policemen around your neighborhood corners standing in the middle of the road.... well, they are there for obvious reasons.... so you better buckle up and stay off the handphones... or you'd be chatting with one of them pretty soon!

If I gonna to stay in those place with good sense of security, I would probably stay in Tropicana to Valencia, Desa Park City to Sierramas. It doesnt makes sense to stay in make shift gated and guarded with tongs and policies that is illegal with no mandate of the residents and closed roads at the whims and fancies.
I do made to believe that Polis is the right Polisi to maintain peace and orders. Nope, we are not suppose to hand these responsibilities on the hands of foreigners who are not trained to handle crimes preventions.

For me, I like to stay in gated and guarded premises as all visitors are checked before entering especially those ex pussy friends or cow burgers street traders. Do I trust the security? Nope, I am still double locking my gate and door. Yeah, My place is packed with ever ready WMD just like my restaurant. From knives that I used to baseball bats that I dont play.
