just for the record ~ I just checked the names/IC nos of 2 of my relatives (registered voters) that had passed away last year - their names have been removed from the electoral list...

The article in The Star was a spin to take the heat off the EC and looks like it works well with many forumers within this USJ forum. Hey, these funny names are just their way of telling the people the opposition are making a fuss out of nothing - look here, Timun and Kangkung are real people.... so back off OK?
BUT did The Star tell you about what was being highlighted last few weeks by @imokman that there were thousands of addresses where more than 100 voters are registered in the same residential address?
Did the people's paper tell you about the many thousands of Malaysians who are dead but their names are still in the voters' list and come election, these dead people actually voted?
Did the Star tell you that there are voters whose names are on the electoral list do not really exist when inspectors check the houses? Phantom voters....
So while you are distracted by Timun and KJangkung and Elvis Presley etc.... the spin worked, due credit to The Star!

Yup it is just a spin to divert attention. Actually the ec is just a branch of bn like the men in blue. They cannot have a real election and expect to win. For all you know they may get only 30 percent of the real votes in a fair election.
