SOS Need Temporary Maid

My mom's maid has to go back for 2 weeks on May22 to visit her very ill mom.

My mom suffers from Parkinson Plus, thus needs 24/7 attention and care.

My family is a very small unit, with only 1 sibling and no extended family.

Appreciate if forumers can PM me contacts of agency which have 'jalan' to get temporary maid. Thank you.

in the mean time ~ have you considered a nursing home. 24/7 attention and care that your mom would need... if you need a contact, I can recommend one in Old Town PJ which is VERY reliable !!

Called not less than 10 maid agencies and there are no temporary maids available.

Mom will never agree to nursing home. She thinks that we are abandoning her and do not love her anymore.

Anyway, my brother has agreed to take 2 weeks off to see to her.

I am not physically able to see to her as I am recovering from injury. Supporting her deadweight will cause me more harm than good.

Managed to speak to someone who has part-time maid, but charges an exorbitant RM12 per hour! Pray that maid comes back.
