Our Education Minister, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin dishes out some goody promotion for over 24,000 teachers in commemorating Teachers Day. Windfall or otherwise, to those teachers who have been teaching selflessly for the betterment of our children, it's congrats to them. Happy Teacher's Day!

Yeah 10-15 years the education system would be ON PAR or better than the developed countries. It is as though the developed countries would WAIT for you in these 10-15 years to catch up with them....what a joke....!

He is a product of that system. that is the reason why he can come up with such a brilliant statement and have other products of that system lapping it all up. As our friend says one fine day they may just announce that all students will automatically get a few bonus A's just for showing up for shool. As far as they are concerned that would already be a great achievement, an inducement of sorts to attend class.

Where is the government getting the money to do all these things? The earlier handouts must have cost quite a bundle. I suspect they are all going to be recouped once BN wins by increasing price of petrol, implement GST, take away subsidies...or maybe the government has plenty of cash that it is not telling us?

I think basically they dont have. They have 10 pots but 5 covers so they shift if from here to there. That's why the malacca cop cars x get repaired because of lack of funds as reported in another thread.
