    Oil change

I was in a hurry for my previous oil change so i took it to the shop and they used the suction method, it took 4L to fill.
This time i drained the oil myself, took 6.5L to fill.

So my previous oil change left me with 2.5L of old oil. In future i will not be so lazy and will never use or allow the suction method.

What type of car are you driving? Normally you only put in 4L of oil.

Whoever told you 4L is normal must be in the engine supply business!
That all cars need 4L is a potentially engine wrecking thought as cars have different capacities, this was a Land Rover (6.8L).
Don’t try putting 4L into a Kancil as its over 1.5L too much or a Mini as it’s a litre less than it needs.
