Prevention is better than cure. But since when was this attitude applied to many Bolehlanders? From red traffic lights to rearing doggies, seen it plenty of times. Heck in the apartment where I live , the managment have to put up notice that the blardy pussy cats on heats are howling in the moonlight every nights -" Pets are not allowed" But you still see neighbours keeping the pussies cats !!!

As in this case - a guy life is lost. Break my heart when I saw the guy kneeling in front of his dead relative before it was packed into the police Land Rover.

Dun hijack this thread to satisfy for your sadist unbersih thought with head title of Polis Car Onslaught

This thread is about dogslaughter instead of manslaught as you prefer to call it. You should have asked if you are being tossed around like a Rag Dolly by the pitbull, then it is visibily revelant. Try to suit up rightinstead of going inside out.

Ah? I thought this Thread is about a unfortunate man, going about his daily routine and got killed by a vicious dog....he has a name and it is Yip Sun Wah. My deepest condolences to the family.

May he rest in peace.....and please lets stop this unrelated 'bitter batter' in a Thread about someone who died!

Kenot help it but if you are reading the invisible postings and other follow up! Those postings are blardy insensitive! And what has a bersih dcar gotta to do with a man who was mauled to death by a dog which is owned by irresponsible owners? As I said - dogs should be muzzled if they are not caged. OItherwise, it is the act of negligence of the owners. I would give the benefits of doubt if they have muzzle kits on when the dog was caged due to oversight mistakes.

I used to owned dogs too in my younger days and when they get excited , my dogs could even jumped from the 5 feets fenciing. And it pissed me off when I walked reound the houses from Sj to USJ where fast and furious doggie try to bark and jumped excitedly over 4 feet fencing or gates.Heck, I was once nealy mauled by a pit bull but luckily I was able to punched it on the nose where he whinned back to its master house. Pelik tapi benar, the owner looked at it to nurse the doggie but did not offered any apology. He would be nasty if I did have the Mean Olde Chef look. But he looked too dazed anyway.

Mountain can change or be invisible but characther kenot. Cakap tak serupabikini inside out. Masih tak respek tajuk dan pendirian yang buat tadi.

What seems to be relevant and visible is this being reported by The Star where eye witness try to helped when he saw the deceased was attacked by the dog. Meanwhile, Subang Jaya Municipal Council director Dr Roslan Mohamed Hussin said it had started checking residential areas in the township for breeds that were said to be aggressive and dangerous. ( I propose that the requirement of giving licence on the blank check, the owners should be able to present a muzzle when applying one annually. Otherwise, it is deemed meaningless if another lives are lose due to negligence again.

I have seen every show of The Dog Whisper re Cesar Milan series since it started. I have also seen some of the other series Dogs 101. In Dogs 101, we are informed the special breeds were specifically bred to amplify the specific qualities the owners want. Some dogs are bred for gentleness, certain work capabilites and some for their aggression. Dogs can be trained and tamed as demonstrated by Milan. One of his pitbull, 'Daddy', amongst the 30 dogs in is his pack, was really a socially-cultured dog, and relatively more cultured than many humans.

The problem is how many owners (there are exceptions) in Malaysia bothered to or are capable of training their dogs in the proper effective ways. When the dogs are not train properly, they revert back to what their original behaviour what their original genes will 'tell' them to do and sometimes turn feral. This is very dangerous especially for those dogs that were bred for their aggression. This is what I meant by the aggressive breed can be potentialy lethal and fatal.

When one walk around the neighborhood in USJ, it is glaring and loud that 9 out of 10 dogs will back like mad and act as if you they want to tear me into pieces. Dare not think of what will happen if they could break out or jump over the fence.

According to Milan, the Dog Whisperer, the dog behavior is a reflection of the owner's state of mind and personality. If the dog behaves negatively, then, there is something not right with the owner's state of mind. He would recommend dog owners to check their own state of mind before they handle any dogs. I like the spiritual interrelation (when it works) that human can have with dogs. Here is an interesting video on the this topic Cesar Millan with Eckhart Tolle - Part 1 of 3.

I agree there is room for dogs with humanity, but only if effective proper training is implemented.

I wanted to keep chicken, duck and goose in my compound. Neighbours and MPSJ both said cannot, even when I promised and swore I will keep the place clean. But I see people keeping rottweiler, pit bull, phyton, snakes and many dangerous animals as pets. Are my neighbours and MPSJ mad cos they gave me the idea that chicken, ducka nd goose are more dangerous than rottweiler, pit bull, phyton, snakes and many other exotic animals some people called pets?

Simple reason - BIRD FLU .... so far, dog flu, snake flu (if exist) .... does not pose any danger to humans .... but BIRD - very dangerous unless FRIED !!!

I don't really keep chicken, duck and goose as pets. Never wanted to keep any pets. But I see the irrationality of allowing dangerous animals as pets e.g. rottweiler, pit bulls, phytons, snakes and many other non native animals as pets. Allowing rottweiler and pitbull and phyton and snakes as pets is very irresponsible and endanger other people's lives. To dog lovers, there are many a lot less dangerous dogs that they can keep as pets. Many people already died because of these dangerous dogs and still the authorities and some dog lovers are still dreaming that rottweiler and pit bulls are gentle and safe.
