In this case, it is not the fault of the jogger, but the fault of the pitbull owner where they are responsible for the public safety for rearing such dangerous dog. First and foremost, the dog should be muzzled unless it is being caged. Pitbull is not a guard dog per se - they are bred to fight, to kill where they bite at the neck of the victim. But then, it is not a pit bull but english bull. Seriously, any sizable dog can injure or kill. imagine a toddler or a five year old child strolling along the street.
