    Tear Gas not harmful?

Police: Tear gas used at rally safe, UN-approved

Not harmful?? Why don't you light up a dozen and stuff it in your bedroom, Syed Mustafa? Apparently long exposure to it has killed all the grey cells in your brains and your fellow gestapos

Anyone die or injured* by tear gas during the last rally? Its design to make you feel uncomfortable, not to harm you.
Of course light up a dozen of it in your bedroom will harm you, same goes to eat too many chili sauce, but that doesn't prove it is harmful.

*There are people injured by tear gas can, but not the tear gas itself.

I agree with BurnTan that tear gas is not harmful but I sure would like to see BurnTan in a room filled with tear gas. Not for long, 10 minutes will do and BurnTan will prove to the world that tear gas is truly not harmful.

Here is the proof, the 2 guys sitting in the middle of the road can totally ignore tear gas without getting any injury.

The guys sitting down were COVERED with t-shirts lah....obvious lah no harm...
Looking from the top camera angle can be confusing....
For all we know the wind was blowing the gas UP from the ground....hence the gas was ABOVE the guys faces which were close to ground level (becos they were sitting down)...
    So obvious lah no harm...
We see the video from top down, it is like the WHOLE area was covered with gas.....ground level to chest level...it may not be...
Then the wind direction changes....obvious lah no harm...
The gas smouldering the FRU...obvious no harm lah...they were wearing gas masks...

Just my humble layman analysis of the video..

    Cheers!

Let's see ... if I recall "correctly" - BULLETS, BOMBS (nuclear and non-nuclear), GUIDED MISSLES, RAMBO-KNIVES, MACHINE-GUNS, TANKS, APC, HOWITZERS, WARSHIPS, AIRCRAFT CARRIERS, SUBMARINES etc .... UN approved also esp in UN-sanction military intervention into Iraq, Sudan, etc .... I guess they are NOT HARMFUL also right ....

Hahahaha .... I guess the ONLY WAY Burntan will ever find out is to get himself/herself tear-gassed along with the BN Cabinet Ministers and PDRM BIG DOGS .... then they will know what the rest of us felt and think 3X before firing another can for the heck of it ....

the tear gas canister that landed in front of me gave out a fruity aroma and the after taste is just like that of a 18 yr old single malt. how can that be harmful?.....in fact, i'm going back for seconds.....no in fact i'm going back for the whole case
