It is obvious that they pick and choose what they like, right? For example:

1. Yakuza: those who make mistakes cut off a small part of their fingers. I have not seen any Malaysian leaders with some fingers missing despite the fact that we have lost billions to gross negligent, corruption, etc

3. Apology: How many times have you heard a Malaysian incumbent leader apologize? The only time I heard was Najib but his deputy said, "No need to go into details." So, apology for what?
