When the USJ dot com Forum was started in 1999, we felt the need for members to meet up and get to know each other better. Hence the start of our TT sessions - which actually means Teh Tarik Sessions, where the then kopitiam scene was at the mamak shop who serves basically teh tariks. Of course, with the current health conscious citizens, drinks have evolved to nescafe-tarik-kurang-manis, teh-o-ais limau, and even milo-o-kosong amongst other sugarless concoctions

Let's revive the TT session (generally to meet forum members face-to-face, for those who wonder what it is about) once a month. How about the last Sunday of the month? It would have been easy to pick first Sunday but the Subang Book Exchange programme runs on the 1st and 3rd Sundays in USJ2. So in order to avoid clashes, we should use the LAST SUNDAY of the month.

If anyone of you are free, do drop by at ...
Pizza vs Satay, 2 Jalan USJ 11/3 (behind Country Barn, same back row as Ayuthaya Thai restaurant)
    GPS location = 03.04782, 101.58031
last Sunday of April (29 April)
late afternoon ... 3-5 pm (or later if anyone wants to continue on)

we normally have a box for donations to cover your drink/food whereby excess after settling the bill will be accumulated for charity. Alternatively, you just pay your own bill. Sorry, we have no sponsors, so we normally go dutch.

Let's have some opinions or counter-suggestions here and we see how it goes.

I remember some of you may have some problems with your computer hardware. Raymond wanted me to try revive a comatose harddisk, for example, and forgot to bring it when we met last week ... if Raymond could come this Sunday, please bring the device for me to have a look. Do take note that I don't promise to revive the dead, but it is worth a try

And you photography enthusiasts ... I know you have your own interest group, but it would be nice if you guys came to share your techniques and your gear. Surely some of us wannabes can learn a lot from you flers. So Franky, if you are not on another model shoot, this weekend, how about it? of course we have Mick and also the sifus like choopy, SS19flyover, firefly, dreamer, patrick ...

Nothing much really ... chit-chat and some political opinions...
and we figured out what was wrong with Raymond's harddisk, although fixing it might be difficult

My apology for not turning up, especially to Chang. I was so tied up over some matters, I just plain forgot completely about the TT. Maybe also getting old lah ....

Looking forward to the next one.

    Rgds to all.

Time flies,... last Sunday of the month on 27 May
Shall we meet again at Pizza vs Satay, 2 Jalan USJ 11/3 (behind Country Barn, same back row as Thai restaurant)?

I have a freeware that helped me recover all the documents from a harddisk partition that was locked by password. So, if Raymond comes, he can have his data recovered ... FOC. Anyone interested can make a copy of the free app which I would rate as the best recovery application I have ever used. If you can't come, search for Recuva from the net and download it yourself.... but it would be good to meet up. I can demonstrate how I recovered Raymond's files.

Why not 1st Friday night of the month like those old days? I am sure there will be a nice place for us to mingle where they also allow smoking.... But unfortunately no more free Silver Bird fruit cakes and whatever... the company going belly up oredi hahaha! Good for you Jackson! God is great!

This place also allows for smoking ... they have seating on the corridor, outside.

As for changing to Sunday afternoon, we are trying it out if it is better for the other members since quite a number had said that Friday night is a bit of a problem. I know for a fact some of us had to cut the TT short in the past because need to transport kids to/from tuition classes.

Anyone prefer other times, please put a note here
