The thing I don't like about the CURRENT hybrid models/designs today - DAMN LOUSY BOOT SPACE and DESIGN ... I am waiting to see if things get better later on ... seriously, you cannot go on FAMILY HOLIDAY with them .... LESS SPACE than MyVI !!!!!

An electric car is probably only good for city driving.
I believe the battery is limited to about 120Km travelling before the juice runs out. So if you need a return trip on a fully charged electric or hybrid car, think of the limitation of travelling within a 50-60 Km radius from your home... haha, can't even drive to Ipoh or Melaka.
Of course, the hybrids have a petrol engine but without the electric motor, you will find the car pretty underpowered, not a great idea for long distance travelling

I have order a T.Pruis,RM146K ,it not mistaken it can run on 40%elec60%petrol (vice versa) or fully petrol.

Honda Insight cost less than RM100k, economy mode (run on battery 100%) only when travel around 50km/h or less, that's mean most of the time is battery + petrol.

yes it did save a lot on fuel. Jazz hybrid, toyota Prius, Civic hybrid, honda insight, Honda CR-Z, Toyota Prius C....
