A passport to bad Inglish..

How can like this? Bad Inglish on passport document..Might as well use Bahasa Malaisia all the way and no Inglish on passport....So malula ah not even one decent civil servant can writey good Inglish...

Google Translate has made it to easy for some people

Google Translate has made it to easy for some people

I like this one...see BOLD highlight...

Just imagining how the immigration officers in USA would react and crack if he read the above if it is written as in bold letters at the end of the sentence.

The Airbus that comes with just wheels or wings? And if it comes with no engine, then it would be translated into french fried as it kenot move nor fly.

The error is not caused by Google Translate. It is done by the so called National Institute of Translation, the so called professional body headed mostly by ex directors and professionals from Dewan Bahasa Dan Pustaka. They charge you a bomb. The Immigration should sue them for damages. But I guess it is adik beradik relationship, it will be swept under the carpet.

In bolehland nothing will happen. They will just shrug their shoulders and rub their hands in glee. Print again?? Rakyat complain so must correct. Pay someone a handsome fee to translate again and another brudder to print or arrange to print . Actually they do not need to be printers. They just sub it to someone and get technical assistance fees ala submarine and ap's

So the Malaysian Institute of Translation is useless at translation. How about the Intergrity Institute???
