    Acid Forming Fertilizers

I was told to buy acid forming fertilizers for my ixora hedge. Where can I buy this type of fertilisers? All I know is, they are usually white (for my lawn), red (for my flowers) or chicken dung or goat dung. Are there acid forming fertilizers being sold at Sg Buloh nursery? Thanks.

There are some other homemade fertilizers that can help to increase acidity of your soil.

It says in the link below that coffee ground is a good source to turn garden soil acidic. Unknowingly of the quality of ground coffee, I have been using it in my garden. Coffee ground can be obtained from coffee shop.

Btw, I would like to digress a bit here.

Acidic soil will produce blue blooms for hydrangea plant. And alkaline soil produces pink blooms.

For my hydrangea, instead of using goat/chicken dung fertilizer, I bought soluble powder fertilizer that I sprayed on my plant. As a result, my bloom was pink. I believe goat/chicken dung may increase the acidity of soil.

I have been putting chicken dung but growth is slow. I am looking for something more acidic than chicken dung.
