I think proton changes since Mahaleel leaves .Those days M'sian have no choice but to buy proton as the next cheapest car Nissan Sentra RM90k.Nowadays the design is good and durable but the damage is done and M'sains are getting more effulent and buy other brands. The preve is not a bad car but as i stated before it should price at RM50-55k to get back it's customers.

What son was thinking of that but after I read the thread on Inspira, I told him to change his mind. The quality is so inconsistent. It is like playing lottery; most time you lose but every once a while, you get a good one.

ALAMAK !!! Like that, I am sticking with Perodua or have to "upgrade" to Vios or City then ... for my next car in 10 years time !!! (I am from the "same" school of thought as BSLee when it comes to cars) I will use my "Wira" until the day my mechanic tells me, ""Sorry Bro, NO MORE NEW SPARE PARTS AVAILABLE- junkyard time !!)

Aiseh man, join me and buy a 2002 Camry lah. This car will last another 10 years easily. Cheaper than the new Vios or City. The difference in price can use for maintenance for more than 10 years. And you got comfort, safety and prestige in return.

Just did a service on a 12 year old Kancil, it will go another 10 years easily. I would need to be very stupid to sell a reliable trouble free car
But O, how bitter a thing it is to look into happiness through another man's eyes.

I totally agree with you. Japanese car are very "LASAK" provided you don't mind the body.
